An interesting move on the $20 dollar bill. But, how long will that last? I'm under the impression that we might switch to an all-digital currency sometime in the next 10-20 years. (But, I couldn't find a source with details on that.) So, how long will the sentiment last?

I’m confused. Are you saying the confederacy wasn’t a bunch of social justice warriors? They weren’t big govt liberals in favor of the welfare state??

Good! Next up let’s replace every confederate statue with one of Christian, gun loving republicans Nat Turner and John Brown!

Yep, non-issue for me too. Besides, how many people, under threat of imprisonment, could rattle off whose face is on what bills and coins? LOL

I could do most of the common ones, but I'm not even sure the last time I touched or used a $20 bill... and I'm actually a believer in having some cash on me at most times...

Yoy don't really believe any of that, do you? How many minorities did the left support during their primaries? Answer: None. Wasn't the Kwanzaa loving, fwee-dom baby talking minority woman one of the first democrats to drop out because of lack of support? The left elected Obama (based on nothing but race) because it would be historic, but he was such a flop that he is largely responsible for Trump winning in 2016 because no one wanted obama 2.0. And where is this affirmative action program for white people? And positive that has 'white' in it will be decried as racist. White television network, white Miss America, white scholarships, etc, in a truly racist world we'd see those, but in stead we see BET, black Miss America, black scholarships and so on.

Political correctness changes with the times. Think of all the things what were fine a few years ago but have now been cancelled out of PC. On this very board we have a member whose user name was named after a president. At the time is was probably a good idea, then then cancel people showed up and now Andrew Jackson is a racist and his statues are being torn down. Political correctness makes some people happy at the cost of pissing other people off. Do we really have to say chess is racist because white moves first?

Your last paragraph is a joke. For the last ton of years all you guys do is say minority voters are victims. If you had any sense of decency you'd stop calling them victims and tell them to stop feeling sorry for themselves. Even my ex who worked for the CA democrat party said blacks and others don't like to be referred to as victims because it makes them appear weak and unable to take care of themselves.

And if minority voters are being fooled or bought off, then why do democrats pander to them? Remember when democrat nominees went into Mexico to help illegals cross our border or when Biden's wife went to Mexico and did whatever the hell she did there? Where are those democrats now? The election is over and they're no where to be seen.

Cute. Do you support the rights of women and gays? if you do, you should be tearing down MLK statues and signs. is there any reason why you're not doing this right now?

Your idea of a "flop" is misguided. I myself do not think Obama was a great POTUS, but he was not a "flop."

Flops lose re-election to old pervy codgers. Trump is the biggest flop in our Nation's history.

If you want to erase those people then why don't you go to the root of the problem and erase slavery. Think of how much better people will feel if they never knew slavery existed throughout the entire world and black Africans were the main suppliers and distributors. It is about feelings, right?

If a trans person does something important, why wouldn’t we put them on money?

Either that or they just want to keep historical figures left alone, but by all means, remove ALL ties to slavery...then I won't have to hear people whine and complain about the events of 400 years ago (events which they were not a part of)

Are monuments an honor or a reminder? Should we also remove any historical event or people associated with slavery from our text books and out of our schools?

Cancelling history doesn't change it, it only makes future generations ignorant.
