The borders were neve closed by Trump and they will not be closed by Biden. The difference is Biden wants the illegals to vote.

Trial judges can't deny an appeal of their ruling. That is the whole point of having an appeal.

An interesting thought is that the further away an immigrant lived, the better that immigrant will
be for your country. Some just wander over a border, but others pay a real price to get to the USA.
It's part of that 'founder effect' I suppose.
America should let in lots of immigrants - but ones that will benefit the nation, not the other way
round. America isn't going to be richer, bigger than say China, but few immigrants want to live in
China, or Russia (or even India.) So this is where there's true American Exceptionalism.

Can you quote him saying that?

Well the issue is that immigration should serve the needs of the country, not the needs of immigrants. America has benefited from a few high quality immigrants, but the truth is, no modern first world society needs mass immigration. The former President supported skilled immigration, but under the current administration, if you get here, you are probably not ever going to have to leave, even if you commit multiple crimes.

    An obvious conclusion drawn from:

    https://www.breitbart.com/2020-elec...gal-aliens-more-american-than-most-americans/
In many cases, they’re more American than most Americans because they have done well in school.

    This:
    https://www.latimes.com/california/...-11-million-immigrants-who-lack-documentation

USRAP should be rebuilt and expanded, commensurate with global need and the purposes described
    above.
    https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing...or-the-impact-of-climate-change-on-migration/

And of course there is the Democrat's For the People Act of 21 which if passed will prevent States from checking immigration status of voters as they will not be allowed to collect and match on Social Security Number.

It's really not about the border but stripping I.C.E. of any power.

Joe, our dim-witted Caesar trying to rule by executive decree lies about everything, so likely is lying about this as well.

The most effective thing that Border States can do, by legislative action, is mandate that everyone they catch illegally in their state is promptly bused to DC and dropped off. They seemed little bothered as cities, distant from them, across America were looted and burned last summer and fall. Similarly they don't seem to mind illegal waves hitting our cities as a result of their Open Borders policies. Fine, ship them to DC and let these same politicians deal with them.

Isn't El Paso closer? That's where Trump bused them for drop-off.

And this will be a real acid test for the DNC, a showdown between their left and right wings.
