Canada usually sides with the United States on most issues. When they don't (like not going to Iraq), it should be a warning sign for America about what we are doing.
Canada and the UK would have to tie for number one, with Canada maybe has a slight edge since our North American defense is fairly well integrated, with US and Canadian commands taking turns running NORAD. Israel would be way down the list. To my knowledge, we've never had a joint military operation with them, however we've had multiple joint operations with the Canadians and the UK. Actually I would have to put all of the NATO countries as well as Australia, Japan, and South Korea ahead of Israel since we have mutual defense treaties with all of those countries, but we don't with Israel. How did Israel even wind up on this list?
Trying to think of the wars Australia and the US have fought as allies together. I have: Boxer Rebellion First World War Second World War Korea Vietnam Gulf War Afghanistan Iraq I don't think I've missed any. The US has stated that Australia gathers a lot of intel in Asia for the US. Um, thanks for saying that we spy on Asia. Appreciated. We conduct a lot of exercises together. There's also a lot of Peacekeeping missions. Exchanges of troops, etc.
