I am curious, who do you all think win most likely win the election in November for U.S. president when taking into consideration how things are now?
I don't see Biden making it through the debates. Whether he's intended as a placeholder or not, he'll be replaced by the DNC. And no major stink will be made about it cuz orange man bad.
We don't even know if there'll be an election in November. There will be an election but as November nears count on the Democrats to freak out over their candidate and certain loss. Count on the rise of ridiculous rhetoric and propaganda and when that fails they'll take it to the streets. They are already scheming with their insistence on mail in ballots and ballot harvesting, we must strongly resist both. The Democrats love chaotic situations that provide them with smoke to mask their corrupt plots and intrigues which they are no doubt mounting during the virus crisis. I think Biden is bait and switch and there'll be some last minute maneuvering, my money is on Michelle Obama. The million dollar question is could she beat Trump?
I see that as a possibility, but the danger seems to me that of alienating the candidates and their support that put their efforts into abiding by the nominating process. There would be a lot of questions asked and it might throw a wet blanket on those disenchanted with the process. My thought is it will be "plugs"all the way. Especially now with Obama's endorsement (that is unless he goes dementia full bore)
Trump is the almost prohibitive favorite. The incumbent President always has an edge. Which in this case I don't think would be enough for him to win. But his ability to cheat is what is likely to carry him beyond the finish line. There would have to be such a huge turn out. But that will only happen if we all get together, Trump and Biden supporters, and convince Democrats that Trump is going to win. Because when Democrats start believing they have it in the bag, they become complacent and fail to show up (ask Hillary). When Democrats think they're going to lose is when they show up in hordes and ready to defy all the voter suppression measures that this administration is likely to put in place.
What are these "voter suppression" measures you're referring to? Is that like having to verify you're 18 and a US citizen?
I think Trump will win, but it will not be easy. It will come down to the close states that he won last time. If he loses just a few of those close ones, it could quickly turn against him; states like Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Florida. The only reason it will be close is because the Dems will vote as a block for Biden, no matter how bad a candidate he proves himself to be; because the Dems aren't actually voting for Biden, they're voting against Trump.
Donald Trump hasn't lost the election yet. Biden is still a boob. But Trump is becoming unhinged and may ultimately defeat himself if he continues that type of behavior. People are not going to be as tolerant of his childish antics right now as they normally would be. If he continues this way, he'd better hope the Congressional Democrats keep shooting themselves in the foot or he is toast. if Cuomo was running, he'd be toast already. He's lucky Biden is his opponent.
I posted about this in another thread recently. You're right, Trump will lose more than Biden would win. Which is ironic because that same situation is how Trump was elected in the first place, when Clinton lost more than Trump won.
I don’t think it will be between trump and Biden. Some unfortunate story will emerge and Biden will drop out.
This is an example for me why I wonder why I am even a member here. Edit to say poster edited before I quoted. Good for you, you realized the goof up.
~ I think we all know who is likely to win ... But I would not count this guy out as a last-minute Biden replacement ! `
Making the claim early again I see. That way when you get the whooping you deserve you can cry "foul". Com'on man!
Obviously BIDEN. Trump will be lucky to hold Biden under 300 EV. Biden could end up winning 341 Biden to 197 Trump. Here is Trump's Nightmare:
Sarcasm does not over ride exactly what I said. You show your hate continuosly for anything Christian, White, or male (I'm sure you don't include male as an object of your hate if the subject is a fruit)
I support Trump, but I think Biden will win enough swing states to win the election. I hope I'm wrong, but that's what I think.
As of this moment, the morning of April 16th, Trump will probably win in November. Does that mean that he is 'beloved' by so many in the Middle, and even on the Right? No. His victory will probably be founded more in the fact that Joe Biden has already been shown clearly to be far, far worse in every respect. Trump does a number of things that infuriate a lot of us on the Conservative Right, but compared to Biden, he's vastly superior.... Biden is mentally unsound... he's blatantly corrupt... and, he's way too STOOPID even to adequately cover-up for either of those things. With interesting, intellectual, capable candidates available to them, like Andrew Yang, or Tulsi Gabbard, why did Democrats settle for an inferior piece of old 'damaged-goods' like Joe Biden...?!
~ Because Ol´ Joe is part of the clique - he's a "company man" that will do as the political establishment tells him. Yang & Gabbard are not. And neither is Trump.
