Who is a better friend of Russians:EU or USA?

Folks, a serious question, who is a better friend of Russian People, EU or USA.

IMO the U.S. because in difference to EU the United States try to embrace Russia and to involve it in more closely relationship. You betcha Russia will get firstly a visum-free traveling with the States, probably ten years thereafter with EU.Already today is five times more easy to receive an US Visum as a German one.
While EU is getting more and more dumber, the US enjoy more and more trust of the Russian People.

I think you may be trying to separate the head from the body of the NATO dragon with this poll. The US has a reset of relations with Russia & then uses Freedom House stooges to blacken Russia. In Europe Poland is no friend of Russia & some of the small states seem to have a pathological hatred in contrast to the good relations Russia has with Germany & it seems France as well.

 

IMHO Russia and US could be work well together. ppl must burn their cold war stereotypes. Russian American alliance’s definitely a win-win situation for both sides.

 

Why do you not like them, please explain.

 

IMO Merkel has destroyed good relationship with Russia like Schroeder it had. Only after Merkel Russia can get a good relationship with Germany. Strategical USA can be a better friend for Russia as EU which swarms of vitriolic Russian haters.

 

Therefore Russia needs more politicians who were educated in the US.

 

You could be right there's friction but not sure it is much more than a personality conflict.

 

Kind of a toughy from my perspective. The EU is a customer of Russian energy exports and they're not overly aggressive, but they also have distrust. The US isn't much different by comparison..

As soon as the U.S. would abandon the role of global policeman, we'd try to create a good relationship with them. It is impossible to be the friend of those who wont to have satellites and slaves only

 

The EU is not a friend or an enemy of anyone. Relationships are still a national area of authority.
Within the EU, Germany has the best connections to Russia by far.

 

I say EU. They have mutually beneficial trade with Russia. There is nothing Russia and the USA need from each other.

 

After Putin will gotta go and Russia have a new democratic government the improvement of relationships between USA and Russia will accelerate rapidly.

 

The EU has too much little dumb unimportant vitriolic countries with huge ambitions, it is difficult to make a policy with a such cacophonist.USA has one solely voice and easy decision ways, therefore to deal with USA is more simple as with EU.

 

It is an utopia to believe that the World will have never strong countries which will force their policy to weak ones. Do you prefer China as substitute for America?

 

I agree, but probably to the Time of Schroeder. I can not see that Merkel looks for a better dealing with Russia.If Mrs. Kraft win the next elections the relationships would be probably much better.

 

The Germany currently is the most important and leading the state in the European Union. France is gradually slipping in the debt's black hole. Russia and Germany have cooperated well and now, as an example Nord Stream is.

 

Why I did not vote. Because the United States and Russia will never be friends.The European Union is a myth. That is a product of the Marshall Plan.
Major economic partners for Russia in Europe are Germany, Austria, France, Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

 

America is changing demographically, the majority of babies being born there now are nonwhite. Today's America will not be friends of Russia but for the America of the next generation all bets are off & they may well resemble the guy in your avatar.

 

Do not forget that not all Germans agree with violation of Human Rights in Russia. Russia needs stop of opposition's persecution and lesser corrupt economy.BTW why to get a German visa for Russians is tree times more difficult as an US-visa?
Probably the relationships would be better after Merkel get go, not earlier.But, no one chancellor will dill with Russia which harass opposition, is highly corrupt and criminal.

Mrs. Hannelora Kraft has the best chances to win elections in Germany. She is from the West Germany and an Economist.

The both countries have more in common and more equal mentality.

 

For the Russians a visa United States is also a complex issue, but rather easier to get a Germany visa . This problem is due to emigration. And what is interesting from Russia goes largely not morally pure emigrations, and therefore it is not surprising that about Russia in the West has bad opinion.
What would not say "Democratic" European press of Russia, the reality is otherwise. Whoever he was Chancellor of Germany in the economic relations between Russia and Germany will remain on the same level .
We do not have the opposition of which you speak, there are only a bunch of idiots who masked by "high words" in hope to take a piece of cake of power.

 

Those in Russia who know exactly how the US brought Russia to bankruptcy and starvation only 15 years ago know whom to hate and deal with when the time and opportunity are right .
The EU don't yet know how to break wind forcefully and so far have only been nuisance value as far as old Russia is concerned .
