I don't think Biden will be able to run again. Who should it be? I lean toward a Joaquin Castro/Andrew Yang ticket. They are young, sharp and have good ideas for how to govern America.
Please vote in my poll. Thank you. (You can choose another ticket if you prefer.)

Both choices would offer plenty of comedy, but I suspect we get round two of Biden/Harris.

Biden will not survive in the Democrat primaries. He is toast. A lot of his own party does not want him. Look at the polls.

Of course I could be wrong. Just look at that low functioning fool in Pennsylvania, John Fetterman. His mind is so blown that he can't understand spoken words; he has to read them. Yet he's leading in the polls.

This doesn't even address the issue that he wants to legalize hard drugs and turn violent felons lose from the prisons.

And as you said, he's leading in the polls. So why not Biden/Harris again?

Harris and Biden are in office and screwing up. A lot of people know they are bad. Fetterman is not in office, and the main stream media is covering for him. Add to that the union vote, which votes Democrat unless they have a good reason, and you have Fetterman in the lead.

All of those items you mentioned are in play on the national level too except Biden/ Harris are already in office. The Democrats are going to vote for a Democrat, whether it's Biden or anyone else. And Biden is already in office.

One thing you can add to Fetterman’s appeal is the hoodie he wears and the tattoos on his arms. He looks like a rough and tumble union guy although he has spent his life living on trust fund income. He is a man of leisure who looks like a blue collar worker.

Biden and Harris are two of the most mediocre people ever to hold office. And I don't say that because their indulgent ("give everybody free money and open the borders") politics make me ill, though they do.

Michelle Obama, Amy Klobuchar, Joe Manchin,or any combination thereof would be able to beat Trump, not piss off half the country, and not commit serial gaffes in the process. I do worry that Klobuchar has an anger management issue.

Republicans seem to fall for ignorant demagoguery. Mention things like woke, CRT, trans, illegals etc. and you are in. Competence takes a back seat (see Trump). So I think they will fall in love with DeSantis. To counter that I think the Democrats should choose Buttigieg. A clear opposite of DeSantis who could probably take him apart in a debate.

It seems to me that Pete Buttigieg ought to be in there somewhere.

I guess the first question to ask is if Joe (if he chooses to run again) will be primaried?

He has the brains and integrity but, amd I hate to say it, but Americans don't send small persons to the White House. They just don't.

Pete Buttigieg has been a disaster as a cabinet secretary & has nothing positive to run on except his pillow biting, which points to his biggest liability: black Americans are among the least supportive of the LBGT alphabet mafia & its associated issues. Dems can't afford to alienate one of their most important demographics.

I'm betting Biden resigns next year, citing health reasons. That puts Kamalagobbledygook in the big chair, and the question becomes do the Dems primary her? I think yes, and I think Gavin Newsom will be their golden boy.

Yeah I find it hard to believe that Dems would primary their own sitting President, but if he resigns, I think they'll have no problem primarying her. Or maybe not depending on what the South Carolina church ladies think.

The Democrats need to make a hard decision long before the primaries if they want to groom a new candidate. Otherwise they will just be shooting themselves in the gonads which is fine with me.

Here's the 2024 Democrat ticket: California Governor, Gavin Newsom for President and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for Vice President.

The knit-wits have been pushing AOC for President since 2020, as soon as she reaches the constitutional age of 35.

It's going to be tough given his abysmal record as Transportation Secretary and the fact that he polled 0% among African-Americans.

Even the Dems aren't stupid enough to run Rear Admiral Buttigieg & alienate what is arguably their most important constituency.

A true moderate like Joe Manchin. Too bad the Democrats ate one of their own, Tulsi Gabbard, and she left the party.
