Only the PLA harbors anti-American sentiments. And if you talk to those guys they really don't hate Americans if Americans get out of their backyard. The reason the PLA guys are willing to let it go of animosity against America is that they don't believe America owes China a Blood Debt.

The CCP uses nationalism as one of the linchpins of its political legitimacy. Thus, it has inculcated deep resentment for the Century of Humiliation. The Chinese believe that both Britain and Japan owe China a blood debt because of their protracted bad treatment of ordinary Chinese people.

There have been several waves of Chinese immigration to America. They first showed up in New York City in 1789. They once called America "Gold Mountain." The story is complex and so are their emotions.

 

Not so , Yanks are loathed and detest worldwide - but I grant you , the only reason they're tolerated - even by Jews within Israel - its the Dollar . As long as Americans are spending - others especially third world - will not openly show but harbour contempt for Yankeees. - arrogant deluded fools.

You've mistake the intent of my post because I wasn't clear. The only group WITHIN China that hates America and Americans on a visceral level are the folks in the PLA. It's doctrinal.
