Very simple straightforward question -- who's Joe Biden going to pick for a running mate (assuming that he honors his promise to pick a female)?

You may only pick one person, and once you make your choice, you will not be allowed to change it. You must vote in order to view the poll results.

Please feel welcome to elaborate on your decision!

No doubt in my mind -- Amy Klobuchar.

I don't think there's any way that Michelle Obama wants in this thing -- certainly not with a senile slimebag like Joe Biden! She'd wait for 2024, if (IF) she's politically motivated.

Klobuchar is a lock-step, liberal, machine-politician from the same hyperliberal sewer that gave us Ilhan Omar, Tammy Baldwin, and Rashida Tlaib -- the Upper-Midwest. Biden needs this chunk of 'flyover' country, because he's already pretty certain of getting the populous states on both coasts.

Oh, damn! I should have included Tara Reade as a possible running-mate for ol' Joe, in addition to the others! He could give her a place on the Democrat ticket to atone for sexually molesting and assaulting her -- and hopefully make her shut the hell up!

Aside: I actually thought people would vote in this poll, since Biden is supposed to be holding an 'edge' over Trump at this point in the campaign. But, if the response so far is any indicator, maybe people just don't give a sh!t anymore... and frankly, that wouldn't surprise me at all....

i had to vote "other", as the choices given all have tremendous downsides. warren, of course, is a non-starter and i'm not sure how anyone but a complete moron could have considered her as a viable presidential candidate in the first place. as a vice-presidential candidate she carries far too much baggage as a rival and a bit of a joke. the former first lady has a similar problem. though the hard core democrats still revere her husband as some great figure in history, more and more of the less rabidly partisan voters are seeing his tenure in office as just one minor boondoggle after another, capped off with one massive white elephant and eight wasted years. this, combined with some of her more inflammatory statements in the early years of her husband's presidency and her seeming unwillingness to commit to anything more than flapping her gums, makes it far from likely that she would even be considered. harris would seem to be the likely candidate if she wasn't so damn toxic. she would be incredibly popular among the never-trumpers and, of course, those who would vote for anything with a "d" attached to its name, but most others would see her as the hypocritical malcontent she is. that would leave klobuchar, but she is so obviously just another democrat drone and her name would add little to the ticket. a biden/klobuchar combination would be reminiscent of the disastrous mccain/palin match-up of '08.

Yes... whoever "she" is would probably be taking over within 18 months of a Biden victory. He's already just about one moment beyond becoming a total drooling, incoherent moron. A short while in the "big chair" would very likely put him in "the home"....

Again, look for a liberal 'safe bet', from the Upper Midwest -- Amy Klobuchar! Joe's already got the populous West and East Coast lib-vote. All he needs is to secure the participation of the 'party faithful' in flyover country and he may win.

I think it's a good probability that Joe won't get to pick one. It seems democrats are out of favor with uncle Joe these days, and it is simply possible now that he won't be the nominee, and it will go to someone with better TV..... I thought for a while it would be Andy but he seems to be sending the sick old people off to the gulags of nursing homes, so likely it might have to be someone else... If democrats are really honest with themselves, they just want a mommy who can tell them what to do...

OK, what you say makes sense. Now, drop the other shoe -- who has "better TV"? Obviously, nobody in the Democrat solar system would have better visibility than Michelle Obama, or be more highly desired, either.

The flip side is that she would also galvanize those on the Right, and many of the "Rational Middle-Class" who support themselves, and who look back at eight years under Michelle's husband, saying, "Never again!"

So, who will be actually be picked? It better be somebody who really "knows the ropes" because ol' Joe is not too many more 'brain-farts' away from blowing a circuit that will put him in a rubber room-with-a-view, and flowers....

Think! Klobuchar will get along SPLENDIDLY with the other hyperlibs on both coasts, as well as her own klatsch in the Upper Midwest. Yep! I still think it's at least 80% Klobuchar.... Besides, she's relatively 'young', and can probably do 4th-grade arithmetic without having to use a phone! :cheerleader:

Plus -- Biden will already get the Black vote because 'Messiah Obama' has endorsed him!

[IMG]. Has a 'vag' - Great cred among libs - Can tie "East" and "West" lib factions together -:democrat:

Unless Kobuchar discovers 1/1024 Indian blood, she's a no go. Biden has promised a woman of color as VP.

Klobuchar has some potential, but she'll have to defend the serial groper Biden, which won't be an easy task to do after being such an attack dog on Kavanaugh.

Aw, are you sure about that, Mike? I don't think so... wasn't the deal supposed to be that Biden would put somebody on the ticket with a VAGINA? I don't remember that it had to be 'a vagina-of-color'....

What Biden said was, "“I commit that I will in fact pick a woman to be vice president."

Anyway, although I haven't actually seen it, the assumption among those in-the-know is that Klobuchar does possess a qualifying vagina! That reality, plus the fact that she's a lock-step, Upper Midwest liberal with tons of experience as a Democrat senator, makes her almost certain to be Biden's VP pick....

[IMG]. "And after they find Joe drooling and incoherent in a corner -- I'LL BE THE PRESIDENT!"

You missed another choice.. Hillary Clinton. Given the Tara Reade situation, she would be the obvious choice!

As fluid as gender identity is these days, there is no guarantee that a woman today is not going to declare herself something else the next, so it makes this much less issue. Biden could easily simply declare himself a woman and run as the nation's first transgender.

Now getting him to articulate this in any meaningful manner is separate problem that he struggles with across the board anyway.

Well, Mike, if ol' Joe has a 'vagina-of-color' in mind for his running mate, who do you think that would be? Someone else who is as big a blithering-idiot, non-starter as he has turned into...? It could be so!

Think: they had to find a running mate for Obama who wouldn't make 'the Messiah' look like the half-witted, jive-ass clown that he was -- so they picked Biden! Now... who can Democrats find to run with Biden who is even more moronic than HE is...? Not Klobuchar! She's clever, scheming, conniving, and very bright compared to senile, bumbling ol' Joe... and everybody knows it.

With Democrats, qualifications and quality itself don't really matter -- only the ability to convince voters that they'll produce "welfare-as-usual" to the indolent masses who were told 'not to worry... we'll take care of you' during the Obama years....

Klobuchar is home practicing on how to be a rape enabler in front of a mirror, she is a democrat she will find it easy to do.

Val Demings...? She would be a rather unremarkable choice -- but -- she would have "a vagina-of-color"!

Isn't it interesting how many of these Democrat 'stars' never had any employment except for government jobs of one kind or another? That is true of Val Demings, and yet she reportedly has a net-worth of FIVE MILLION DOLLARS.
    Link: https://gossipgist.com/val-demings

Still, you could be right... Demings might be ol' Joe's choice -- but remember -- Joe's already GOT the Black vote because 'the Messiah' announced his support for him already! At this point, to make good on his commitment, Biden merely needs to pick someone with a vagina, but, it doesn't necessarily need to be "a vagina-of-color"!

[IMG]. (*Sigh!*) "Yes, Joe, I'll deliver ALL the Black vaginas on election day, too...."

Demings is being prepped for something. She was one of the questioners during the impeachment hearings and selected as one of the House managers to present the case to the senate in spite of not being a lawyer, or even a very good public speaker. She probably has a clean record of not many crazy statements and has a law enforcement background, which is popular.

Oh, just about any Black liberal with an IQ of 100+ and a fairly high-level government job is a desirable commodity for the Democrat Party. And, yes, Demings might be able to 'deliver' Florida, which both Biden and Trump would need in the election. But, I still think that Klobuchar is a more likely pick for Biden because she can turn out Democrat voters of ALL colors throughout the entire Upper Midwest!
