Why do you believe what you do? Our federal Constitution subscribes to States' rights. Why not delegate the power to pay the debts of the several United States, especially when establishing federal Standards fixed by our federal Congress? We even have an official Mint at our disposal.
I could ask the same question of you, but refrain in an attempt to return to the threads topic. If you have no interest in discussing this threads topic, why not create a new thread relative to the topic you wish to discuss?
It has to do with federal deficits. The several States have no vested interest in federal wars on crime, drugs, poverty, and terror. We have a Commerce Clause. Paying the debts of the several United States is implied by the delegated power to pay the debts of the United States.
It has to do with federal deficits, any federal deficits, such as the one we have now. We have a Commerce Clause; it implies promoting the general welfare by making some form of profit.
I see no point in wasting my time if your intent is to avoid the question posed as this threads topic. Keep trying if you wish, and if you succeed in creating a post that attends to the question, perhaps I or others may take time to respond.
Here is my my latest propaganda and rhetoric for you; federal deficits are Bad and not Good, simply because they enable the right to merely complain about Socialism when it may have some benefit for the least wealthy in our republic. Massive federal surpluses merely makes it easier for the left to ignore the doomsday soothsayings of the right, that much easier since there is no clamor to "starve the beast" due to budget shortfalls.
