Why are mixed race people viewed as more attractive?

    This seems like an interesting phenomenon. Why do you think people who are mixed race are perceived by many people as more attractive than those of either race or ancestry that isn't mixed significantly (like distant mixed ancestry)? Some of the theories is that they get the healthiest genes, but others believe they have an intermediate look that people find interesting because it looks distinct and different and not like the stereotypical person. What do you think?I personally think the latter is true.
