Why are the consequences of African weak culture our problem ?

Considering the low tech, and the fact that the virus originated there, they've acted and several nations have been declared Ebola free. Meanwhile, on the other side of the globe, about as far from Africa as you can get, a Liberian was able to lie and get into the country, and actually infect, not people on the street, but healthcare workers who should know what they're doing.

In short, we should never have had it in the first place, and our response probably cost more than they entire effort in West Africa.

 

Thats because we are sending people there back and fourth essentially HELPING them, im sorry but I may be mistaken, is Zimbabwe helping them? Are the eastern African nations sending people back and fourth to help them? I dont think they are, and I dont blame them if they arent because they dont have the right equipment, we on the other hand are putting ourselves at risk to help these people AS WE SHOULD, and I live in Texas so this can directly affect me
