Ah....so where getting somewhere now...liberal arts courses...in other words majority of students are not being subjected to this "indoctrination" as most students aren't taking anthropology type courses. And I took sociology and psychology and never experience professors spewing any indoctrination. Are there some who spew some nonsense here and there? Sure. But most students aren't taking such classes.

To the first question, why are united state politics so polarized? The simple reason is that people as a species do not like unity. They wish for sides, for divisions, for ways of typifying and categorizing themselves into specific groups and cliques that separate them from others, and define themselves differently from all others.

To the second question, what can be done about it? Absolutely nothing. The people do not wish to blend and merge, they wish to remain separated and divided from others.

 

It is the responsibility of those civil servants, due to their unique position to know things cabinet members may not be aware of, to consider options in the event the prez is not acting in America's interests but rather those of another nation.

The point being, the discussions they held were wholly appropriate, motivated by concern for the country and nothing else.

 

That's because I was being rational in saying the some people are sheep while some are not. That is at least a fair and balanced statement whereas you then claimed MOST are sheep.
