    The are plenty of Liberal Christians. Your question should have been: Why do churches preach hatred of Liberals?

    As for God's Will, people who claim to be Christian should probably be using the words of Jesus Christ as their method of interpreting God's Will. Instead, churchgoers seem to comb the Old Testament for any verse that might be construed as supporting their bigotry. They don't even go through the entire Old Testament so they can live by all these old rules they claim are God's Will. They just pick and choose the verses that support whatever bigotry they currently feel.

    A Christian would do their best to follow the teachings of Christ. An idol worshiper would instantly obey whatever the priests of the red elephant idol told him to obey.

    really? was Gods will to make America Pro-homosexual? no. so liberals hate gods will and disrespect it repeatedly.

    my church doesn't preach hated of liberals. we dislike them because they seem like the devils advocates sometimes.

    we dislike religious fanatics that try to push their religion on people via the government, regardless of their beliefs... that included Christians fanatics

    disagreeing with Christians is not the same as hating them, do you hate Muslims, Atheists, Jews, ect... or just disagree with them

    for the poll, I vote "they don't believe in God" and that is why you think they hate you.... because they believe differently then you

    What's wrong with a devil's advocate? I play the devil's advocate to myself to make sure every aspect of a point I want to make...makes sense.

    The devil's advocate is a very rational aspect of politics.
