That's not accurate about the Old West. Women had almost no economic opportunity in the era and there was a severe shortage of women. Some areas also were quite lawless. That also is why the US Military killed off NA men to turn reservations into rape centers. The oppression of Muslim women isn't just rape, is it? You aren't really claiming that, are you?
Not enough options in the poll. When a huge religions teaches holy war to bring the rest of the world into the fold it is logical to fear said religion and islam teaches this.
It is a FUNDAMENTAL CONTRADICTION to claim you support LGTBQ rights, equality for women, and oppose bigotry, while at the same time advocating relocating M.E. Muslims here. Total contradiction. If is a FUNDAMENTAL CONTRACTION to claim you support higher wages for working Americans while at the same time advocating essentially open borders. Another total contradiction. But, again, NO ONE can claim to favor LGTBQ and women's equality and rights if that person supports bring M.E. Muslims here. Their beliefs and values are the antithesis of and adversarial to ours. - - - Updated - - - So your messages are self contradictions or nonsensical.
So terroristic acts in Indonesian and North Africa are a natural defense reaction against the West's aggression? No, your logic doesn't work. Acts of terrorism have been against Western countries that did not participate in any military action in the M.E. wars. How many people, women and children, have we executed for not converting to Christianity there or here? Nor in any manner does it justify Muslim terroristic acts against other Muslim civilians including in their own and neighboring countries. You're canned rationalization of terrorism doesn't factually work.
O.k., Mister Jake, let's see what we have to educate you just with. Here is a nice story about the CIA. In case you don't know, the CIA is wholly American. Read on here: http://www.globalresearch.ca/a-timeline-of-cia-atrocities/5348804
My response is that your long blog piece is 100% non-responsive as it doesn't even hint at why Muslims are engaging in acts of terrorism against Muslim civilians in other Muslim countries that not only had nothing to do with acts by the USA or CIA, but with some of those countries anything but friendly to the USA.
Now you changed your original question! It is not my duty to entertain you. Find someone else to pester, perhaps Grau will have pity on you.
All I see is the West trying to Westernize all nations of the earth, from modern Japan to the Middle East. It's just that you guys do it with a smile.
honestly tho, all the choices you listed are valid. Yes muslims have committed terrorist attacks, so its natural to profile and fear them. But then you get people like Donald Trump fearmongering and this adds fuels to the fire, not to mention some people were bigoted to begin with.
Yes, but my point was that a religion's teachings do not determine whether it is a threat or not. In fact, such teachings are largely pretty packaging for ulterior motives.
They are not enough choices. Trump is not very bright but he is not fear mongering about Muslims either. Unlike Christianity which has had a reformation Islam is still bent on world domination.
Yes I would agree there are more choices needed, but I disagree on everything else. Christianity's not bent on world domination because its lost its devout society. Most nations adhering to Christianity in the past have transitioned to "secular" states so a state cant really declare world domination in the name of Christ anymore, unless its the Vatican. On the contrary, there are still enough devout Muslim states with Islam as the national religion so countries and organizations can declare war in the name of Allah. Trump may not be fearmongering himself, but his supporters are and there seems to be a correlation between who you attract and what you say....
While you make valid points in your post, I find it interesting that in the U.S. since the 9/11 attack, more Americans have been killed by Pro-Life terrorists than by Muslim extremist terrorists, which begs the question, "Why aren't Americans as riled up over Pro-Life extremists as they are over Muslim extremists?
Well, Ron, maybe when a Muslim country invades a Western nation, in turn destabilizing it and causing the deaths of thousands; maybe then you'll have a point. Until then, you and other Westerners who argue like you are full of it.
