They can be answered negatively as well as positively. You've got to be prepared to accept either.

there is nothing you would ever accept for evidence of a prayer being answered.

    Be honest.

Your last statement regarding science is not accurate. Perhaps you've heard the saying "the absence of evidence is not evidence of absence".

Why do some truly believe Trump is the anti-Christ?
Possibly because everything Christ taught or lived with his life, was to benefit others rather than himself. Everything Trump does is motivated by, & intended for, benefiting himself in some way, & NOT others.

Mark my words. 8 years from now they'll forget how much mud they flung at him and praise him as they fling mud at the next guy.

Happened to Bush. Happened to Romney. Happened to McCain. Happened to Reagan. Happens when partisan hacks hack.

You pray for lives spared, you expect.....LIVES SPARED.
I’ll put science up against GOD, any day.
    Religion has done what ?

Why ? Because god is an independent contractor ?
Science is non denominational and helps everyone.

What you "expect" is utterly irrelevant. God answers the prayers he chooses to answer.

So, God plays favorites. Are you privy to his choice selection. Tell us what it is. It sure has nothing to do with innocent children suffering.

Wrong. If it’s a relevant source of hope, you’d see it. . If religion had any evidence as a life saver, you’d see articles about it. During this time of need, we aren’t seeing religion promoted as a cure. But keep pretending, and watching people suffer and die while promoting OZ.

Given that innocent children are guaranteed to go to heaven, saving them is a lower priority.

And the guarantee comes from people who talk to God, with no evidence. It would be one thing if the children died immediately, but many suffer horribly before they die. Starvation isn’t painless. ...

    1. Innocent children ? Saving is lower priority ? Seems like it’s no priority.. If little children are brought on this earth to suffer and die through no fault of their own, where is this just God ? Is it now time to bring in the , “God works in mysterious ways” bit ?

Just what we all thought. God saves people who pray and saves people who don’t, Independent of whether they pray or not.
You said...”what we ‘expect’ is irrelevant”. If what we expect is irrelevant, maybe, we should put our eggs in the science basket where it will do some good. You’ve just admitted we can’t expect prayer to help.

So, you just verified that religion and prayer don’t help, at least compared to science.

I could have told you that. I’ve known lots of clergy and very religious people over time who took Lipitor. .

Btw, lets see what your trusted source says about climate change. They sure don’t recommend prayer as a consideration. Seems like they are tracking evidence.

For some very partisan political folks, that is normal. I remember some Religious Republicans referring to Obama as the anti-Christ.

Mistaking Trump for the Christ or for the AntiChrist is silly.

Neither would wear a loin cloth/necktie.

If you could provide documented instance of either, the sources might explain the disorder.

E.g., Rick Perry: I told Trump he was God's 'chosen one'

Completely irrational on their part when you consider the actual behavior of these two presidents. Trump is crude, offensive, unfaithful and criminal. Obama is cool, honest, faithful, more Christian like in behavior and competent.

    Trump is a fat
    slob....

If anyone making a movie were picking an anti Christ it would be Trump.

You're forgetting the partisan effect. There has always been some of the opposite party who has viewed the president as the anti-Christ. Actually, Obama might be the better candidate as if I remember right the anti-Christ is suppose to be a smooth talking, cool dud.

History is a collection of schizophrenic projections of contemporary groups. Remember when Columbus was a national hero? I do. Now there's people who think he's the demon spawn of Satan himself. 50 years from now there's a nonzero potential for him to be the Jesus of a new religion.

Once Trump is out of office people will definitely wail "Even Trump would not do something this horrible" over some new issue that isn't horrible at all.
