Why Don't American Muslims Riot?

Muslims in America don't riot. Why don't they? Is it because they are very satisfied living in America? Or are they afraid of the consequences of rioting?

 

They already have everything they want. And each time the US goes to war and loses, they get even more.

Simple really.

 

We screen out the worst of the riff raff on entry and they are outnumbered 100 to 1 by armed folk who do not like riots.

 

Because they are civilized enough to, like Christians, avoid reading their Holy Book literally and act on it.

 

Because the vast majority of Muslims here in the U.S. want the same thing the rest of us do- a place to live peacefully and raise a family.

And the small number of malcontents who would 'riot' don't have a critical mass- hard for 5 guys with a single sign to riot.

 

It's simple, they aren't a big enough group in this country to have any real strength, so they are in a state called "hudna", which is a temporary truce established with the infidel so that they can gain strength and numbers. They are waiting for more Muslims to immigrate to the West and have children. When they do, and their population reaches numbers similar to that of Europe (5-10%), then you will see a much more confrontational face from this group of people, just like they are seeing in Europe.

 

I bet saying that gave you a real warm, fuzzy feeling. Too bad it's based on nothing but emotionalism and what MSNBC told you about it.

The current percentage of the population is sort of a sweet spot; too small for politicians to try to bribe for votes and make demands on the political system but large enough to have a recognizable identity. with the two options either assimilate or isolate.

However you're right that much higher numbers will lead them to make demands on the system, just like in Europe, and there will be no shortage of politicians willing to cater to those demands.

 

That, and its pretty much true also. You forgot to mention that.

There is no muslim leader that wants a place to live peacefully. They want wealth and power. The muslim masses are pawns.

 

One of my sons brought home a young Southeast Asian Muslim woman to meet his parents over the weekend. I restrained my wife's sharp tongue and baleful eyes. The young lady appears to be an apostate. Perhaps that comes from living in San Francisco.

She's a beautiful, vivacious and outgoing person. I can see why my son is attracted to her.

However, I have lived a long time and have some insight into the matter of abandoned faith. Even though I am an atheist I will in some ways always be a Roman Catholic.

I have to give the young lady credit for a willingness to board the good ship Peuqot and extend her hand to Captain Ahab.

 

It's because Islam isn't the problem.

 

Radical extremists muslims who hijacked their religion to justify what they are doing is right are the ones that are rioting. Majority of muslims are not radical extremists and the majority of muslims living in America are not radical extremists.

 

I always make sense when I post. That you don't have any ability to understand me is your problem and not mine.

Try being objective for just one time in your life and consider that neither you or your country is the centre of the universe. You could learn a lot that way, most of which you wouldn't like, considering that massive propaganda machine that operates daily on your brain.

 

It could also be that once they are here they begin to understand our freedoms, laws and way of life. Can you imagine teaching someone what "freedom of speech" is in a country that has never experienced it...has no idea of the concept whatsoever? They only understand it when they come here to live and see it in practice everyday. While they may be upset because of what some idiot filmmaker did or what some "redneck" preacher did they know the US government isn't responsible for it and doesn't condone it. Those rioting in the middle east don't know or understand that because they can't imagine such a thing as freedom of speech. Everything that happens in their country, news, speech, etc. flows from the government not from some individual.

 

I've been to Malaysia quite a few times. Your description of the young woman is indicative of the women I have met there. Very out going, strong and independent.

Getting back on topic, there have been demonstrations this week in Australia by Muslims. The Muslim community has condemned these demonstrations. It appears the demonstrators are mainly from the Lebonese community. Young idiots who are second or third generation Australians.

 

America assimilates immigrants which is something no other country does. In other countries, even England, Canada and Austalia, Muslims are never accepted and always remain separate and apart. This tendency is made worse by the fact that they go to their own Muslim schools which fill their heads with garbage. In America, you have to pay to go to a Muslim school, and most Muslims can't afford it.

My sister's son goes to a Muslim school, and he will grow up to a be a die-hard Muslim radical because of it. He is there because his father insists on it, and is willing to pay the high tuition.

 

Riot about what?

 

And everything you say is based on ingorance of Islam is an generalization that all Muslims follow Sharia law and want to kill anyone who is not Muslim.

What "we know" is that is that everyone here is "free" within the law to act as they wish. Even if those acts are offensive to others.
What "they know" is that no one is free to act without the permission and agreement of the government.

When "they" see Americans behaving offensively they "know" our government has approved and even sanctioned the behavior.

Muslims don't riot here because "they" are "we."

 

My loyalty extends to my family and friends. And maybe to some extent some of the people in my locality.

I don't perceive you as one of my people so I suggest you use the terms "we" and "our" sparingly. There is no unifying principle which brings the residents of America together.

 

I don't know much about the Muslims of Australia. The Muslims of Britain seem to be an awful bunch of folks in general. Muslims in America tend to be the best educated in the world imo. They are much likelier to be high achievers. It's almost as if they self-select.

The young lady who visited us was quite charming. I invited her to join us for Thanksgiving.
