This is not just America but an international agreement that America must abide by

They would if the bloody denialists would get out of our way. But there are some measured improvements

What international agreement and who agreed to it?

You believe flooding in Bangladesh would cease if bloody denialists stopped you from doing what exactly? Be specific. And who is being impeded? Whose way is being impeded? You are talking to a guy who intentionally lives a carbon neutral lifestyle as well as decreasing erosion, nitrate leaching, etc. at economic cost in some cases. Nobody is in my way ! And I’m actually sequestering carbon and taking other concrete actions to protect oceans and other ecosystems.

Yes, I suppose Fox says incorrect things but I can’t say for sure because I don’t consume that kind of media. I’m not aware of any government taking meaningful actions that can actually solve problem we face. Climate nutters are folks who post a meta analysis without reading it that conflicts 100% with their beliefs.

Climate nutters are people who believe things without evidence and things that conflict with all known evidence. For example, a person that believes a warming planet increases net mortality related to temperature is a nutter because all evidence shows warming reduces net mortality and colder than optimal temps kill far more than warmer than optimal temps.

Climate nutters are folks who link to the IPCC but don’t know what’s actually in their reports. Climate nutters start threads like this one where they claim 473 ppm atmospheric CO2 can cause a several degree C rise in global temps when the IPPC 8.5 scenario says it takes 1000-1200 ppm to achieve a 4.4°C increase.

Getting the idea? I don’t know who extinction rebellion is.

I have read the IPCC reports. That’s how I know what’s in them and you don’t. That’s why I can provide irrefutable evidence the OP claims on warming are incorrect. Because I’ve actually read the IPCC reports.

I don’t have impossible expectations. You do. You think reducing carbon emissions will stop flooding in Bangladesh when CO2 didn’t cause it. You are the one with impossible expectations.

What am I in denial of Bowerbird? Be specific.

The real reason you stopped debating: You were tired of losing debates.

.....And until countries like China and India get their act together the US should not worry about the climate change myth.

Oh I have. See your problem is that you’re doing the same thing ALL the lefties do. Go look up CO2 levels. What you’ll find is that the VAST majority of the climate nut jobs out there will go back 800,000 and they’ll stop. And they’ll say LOOK!!!! Look how high our CO2 has gotten!!!!

What they neglect to tell you is that if they go PAST 800,000 years their numbers no longer work. Why? Because prior to that there were literally millions of years where our CO2 was MUCH higher and periods where those CO2 levels increased at MUCH faster rates than they’re increasing today.

They CANNOT however tell you exactly why that occurred. Which means they CANNOT tell you whether or not the same natural processes are occurring today.

BAHAHAHAH I just noticed your graph only goes back 800,000 years while I was coming back to source my claim

False. It’s happening MUCH slower than it has occurred in the past.

We had one period of 3 decades where the co2 spiked astronomically and so did the temperatures with no evidence of excessive volcanic or meteoric activity.

Why did that happen? Nobody knows. How do they know it’s not happening today? They don’t.

It has steadily gotten warmer since the 70s.

The 70’s is literally less than a second in earths history.

Look there are periods in earths history where the CO2 jumped to exponentially higher and faster than it has at any time in the past 800,000 years. If that’s true, which it is, and if it’s true that they don’t know WHY that happened, then on what grounds can ANYONE assert it’s not happening again?

Why I stopped debating Climate Science with Science denialists...

I almost choked on my coffee. This is the title of a post which debates "climate science" with science deniers.

Probably because the reason we didn't know then is because we weren't there, but we are here now.

The one figure you are missing has $$ signs before the billions, soon to be trillions, in tax payer subsidies. The whole Green Scam is one big money pit fueled by subsidies.
It creates taxpayer funded jobs that don't produce a nickel in end-of-line productivity. It is pyramid building by a society who should know better.

    That is sad.

    Once again (for the record)
@557 says: "Sagan predicted several degrees C rise in temp by 2050 with 1985 levels of emissions."
Sagan says: "...the present rate of increase of minor infrared absorbing gases in the Earth’s atmosphere, that there will be a several centigrade degree temperature increase on the Earth’s global average by the middle to the end of the next century. “

    Sagan's words were quoted AFTER

The post is barely 3 lines long, and your excuse is that you didn't read it? That's pathetic! This is a very poor way of saying that you DID read it, but have no adequate response.

Let people be happy! If saying they are a woman makes them happy, what's it to you?

Right wingers who scream about somebody butting into their private decisions are the ones who most LOVE butting into other people's.

It isn't about private lives it is about what is pushed onto others by lefties. So what if someone doesn't agree with another's lifestyle?
