It's the left who decided they were too snowflake-ish to look at Confederate statues anymore and wanted them removed. Why does it always seem like the left does something stupid, and then when the right reacts, the left points fingers at the right for reacting.
What I said was not complicated. Since you asked, I guess the left would have been bothered by the statues and got wound up enough to have them taken down. I understand the right having an opinion on the matter, but must disagree with them.
I don't view this statues as about right or left. I view the statues as either civil or uncivil. They represent a repressive ownership of one group of people by another group of people in other words slavery. The statues were built in an attempt to keep blacks in their place during Jim Crow.
What winds the left up so tightly that they'll tear down statues and kneel during the anthem? You guys never see your own actions and faults, you're just like my sister when she was young, she would make a face at me but then cry when I made one back at her all while believing what she did wasn't wrong but what I did was.
Tearing down statues and insulting patriotic Americans is what you call civility? Don't forget, your side cracks skulls with bike locks and burns their own buildings over people wanting to talk.
Says the guy who protests and riots over racism, islamophobia, homophobia, DACA, illegals, SSM, wedding cakes and pizzerias, but best of all, you protest over free speech.
Half your side thinks Bush brought down the World Trade Center and the other half thinks Putin lives in his guest room. Pretty much explains it all.
Why does stupid stuff get people riled up? Because the stupid stuff is easy. Health care. Tax reform. Those issues are complex - and Red Hat Americans and Antifa dolts don't like complex issues.
Do you want to tear down MLK statues since he was against gay marriage? You've got a lot of streets and schools to rename bud.
Because, in my opinion, it's stupid bait and switch for them. There is a healthcare bill that would literally have them lose their health coverage (along with millions of others) but Trump is a) playing to his base and only talked about this during an actual rally for a man that is running to replace the Jeff Session seat in Alabama and b) trying to make the media not cover the **** health care bill that his party is trying to push through. Today, a third Republican has claimed that she will not vote yes on this bill.
We're not the ones who need safe spaces, therapy dogs and play doh when our candidate doesn't win, and we don't soil our drippers and run for therapy when we see Trump chalkings and bumper stickers.
Chanting about wanting dead cops is your idea of civility? Or how about raping Trump's wife? You sorry you started this thread yet?
