Is every branch of the federal government supposed to be an extension of their personal political and ideological beliefs? The problem with the bureaucrats and politicians which infect our government today, is they think the federal government is all one big play ground for them. We are $17 trillion in debt, and yet they waste our tax dollars on their own political or personal agendas??? The park service serves a specific function - managing and maintaining our natural flora and fauna and other of natures outdoor treasures, its purpose it not to promote gay marriage or Islam.

Why is the US National Park Service, under their Multimedia Presentation, promoting LGBTQ Rights (A discussion about marriage rights), African American Women in the Suffrage Movement, and a three part video series on AnNur Islamic School?????

Wouldn't you expect there to be multimedia presentations on oh, I don't know..... maybe videos on THE PARKS?? hmm maybe at the bottom of the multimedia page they have a footnote that might lead to the national parks?? Nope! At the bottom of the page we see:

Did you know the women's rights movement formally began in the Wesleyan Chapel in Seneca Falls, New York? More...

Oh, you'd love it in Sweden. You can bet your ass there's atleast some diversity, solidarity, equality or whatnot promotional thingy going on with every government owned organisation, and other major ones. I've stopped counting and noticing them but I wouldn't be suprised if the garbage truckeers were picking up garbage in a LGTBQ friendly way, and payed special attention to any cultural sensitivities I might have, or some bull(*)(*)(*)(*) like that. And the best one is probably that the swedish church has gone so pluralist and multicultural to actually hire a (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*) imam. the swedish church.

It's kinda funny really. I was on a municipal ubss company's site the other day, and of course: they had made sure that their employees were 'diverse', and that their workplace was homo-friendly. I'm also going at a school, and I'll be damned: there's a little gay rights flag beside every teachers' room. And of course, they all LOVE to tell you how they are spending your taxes on doing completely worhtless and silly things when they actually have a rather easy and clear job.

I did not realize their interests were so eclectic. I might want to work with them.

It's the national parks service, not the civil rights division of the US justice department. Even at that, the US Justice Department enforces our laws, not try to influence us about religion.

This is an illustration into the mind set of too many people who think our government is supposed to be a platform to showcase their personal agenda items. Our national parks are nature preserves, not platforms for showcasing exercises into abstracts of ideological thought.
