Your talking about hitlers later years where there is not enough bed that can be said about him. I have personally visited his "camps." There is still an Aura there. Very creepy.

But his early years 33 to 39, he was a great benefit to a nation in shambles. The cost turned out to be far too high, but he brought the German people out of poverty and chaos.

odrama has caused chaos in his first term. A second term where he has no concern with reelection is too scary to contemplate.

Uprising from poverty and chaos is good, but then completely (*)(*)(*)(*)ing everything up and leaving half of Europe in ruins, all the while trying to get the Nazis to rule the world isn't so great. And that was sadly the end result.

My understanding that Nazi Germany's economy kept improving because the government kept spending like mad and that had the war not come when it did that Germany would have been in dire economic stress in 5 or 10 years from it's massive overspending.

Any idiot can spend money he/she does not have.

Spending within one's means is the skill.

Right, the "first term" was tolerable. His "second term" was an unimaginable disaster.

We should learn from history, no?

    His first term was tolerable?

    What?!?

His entire 'term' was incredibly pathetic.

Hitler came to power in 1933.

The Nuremburg Laws were passed in 1935.

'In 1935, Hitler introduced the Nuremberg Laws, which: prohibited Jews from marrying or having sex with "Aryans" (the Law for the protection of German blood and German honor), stripped German Jews of their citizenship and deprived them of all civil rights. In his speech introducing the laws, Hitler said that if the "Jewish problem" cannot be solved by these laws, it "must then be handed over by law to the National-Socialist Party for a final solution (Endlösung).'

The guy was a sick f#ck and all he did was persecute millions of people, 'rebuilt' Germany by going massively into debt and eventually got Germany ready for a war that he promised them he would never put them through -- all during his 'first term'.

Any moron can start make work projects by going massively into debt...that takes ZERO skill.

The guy was sick, pathetic and useless.

A lot of truth to this but it leaves out the obvious other side of the coin. In addition to the right not knowing how to protest, the left demonstrated no real ability to respond to protests. They had no idea how to deal with a 'mob' of well dressed folk in the Bush/Gore recount. They had no idea how to deal with mass Tea Party protests and still have no idea how to deal with dissent in town halls. They seem to fear the rights protests might get violent like the traditional lefts protests.

Sounds like the exact policy odrama follows!
