Who said anything about murder? Just a few bullets in the leg would do just fine.

I think the statue removal is mostly silly but I don't much care one way or another. In the overall scheme of things it ranks about 9678th in priority and most of the ballyhoo is absurd.

What a band they were by the way. Deja Vu is a fine album.

Weren't they protesting though? We're talking about looting?

Byrd renounced the KKK and became a well-praised civil rights supporter. The statues of Byrd do not display him in his KKK uniform. If you want to praise a person who served the Confederacy, but later became a civil rights leader, and display a statue of him without his Confederate uniform in a congressional building, I have no problem with that, and at that point you would actually have an accurate comparison.

The Confederates rebelled against the US for the specific and stated purpose (in their own words) of preserving slavery. Their statues do not belong in government buildings, unless the individual in question is being celebrated for something other than his Confederate service and is displayed without a Confederate uniform.

I forget where, maybe Philadelphia. At dawn a massive number of cops opened fire on a house where there were Black Panthers. No one inside fired a gun, the cops fired hundreds of bullets, killing everyone. Which was the idea.

Once you start down that road, a lot of people die.

The reality is there is simply no damn need of it.

Further remove any mention of Hillary from Washington, she was a follower of Byrd.

What we need is new memorial in Washington District of Amerigo Vespucci which should be belie ground level but exposed called the Trench of Traitors!

First in and heading up the fron row will be Benedict Arnold. Jeff Davis to follow ..... it does not have to be all statues of people. We can put a 6-8ft statue of a MAGA hat to remind all of how POTUS T betrayed America.
