The version of Trump the media sells is as an angry, evil, frothing tyrant. That’s why so many of them call him “authoritarian” and “Hitler-esque.” But if you watch Trump’s rallies, as I’ve been doing since 2020, you notice his upbeat spirit.

He’s like a high school football coach who must inspire the players to go out there and win, even if the odds are against them. And really, that is the main job of the President of the United States. To be a great salesperson who can sell all of us on the can-do American spirit.

By contrast, Biden sells nothing but fear. Fear of Trump, fear of MAGA, fear of losing Democracy. Who wants a leader who keeps telling the American people one riot at the Capitol meant the end of America? Really? I thought we were the most powerful country in the world. No?

But that’s all Biden has. It’s a negative rather than a positive. After eight years, why would that be appealing to most Americans? They want to feel better, not worse.

Trump projects strength. Biden projects weakness.

Trump is a leader. Biden is not.

Trump sells American Exceptionalism. Biden sells American shame

Long article and interesting. The main thesis is that Biden, the people around him, and the elite left are in a bubble and don't understand the people of America. I've thought that "Trump Knows this Country" is likely very true. After all he was a producer and star of a successful TV show. He also was involved in wrestling and beauty pageants, events with fans that the left elite wouldn't get within 6 feet of even prior to Covid. And running casinos depends on attracting the masses, no matter how gaudy and garish the decor.

Under Biden we have stable GDP growth. Inflation is largely being caused by corporations and is still the lowest in all G7 nations. Numerous bipartisan pieces of legislation passed like the chips act that will bring manufacturing and technology to the states.


If you want to force women to be unwilling incubators to the state, have a president that is openly profiting off the office. Someone who has said they will be a dictator on day one and will punish their enemies using that office. If you want quarantine easing and massive amounts of money given to businesses and billionaires — please vote for trump.

Everyone else needs to do the opposite though.

 

The irony here is that most of this is true following one term.

- The market has struggled under Biden.

- The auto industry is already experiencing a blood bath

- Migrants are already invading the border in mass

- Many of the successes Biden claims are social services and programs, handouts, all based on the notion collectivism is supreme. I.e., student loan forgiveness

- Rapists and murders are coming here, essentially unregulated, and hiding behind Biden Asylum rules changes.

- People are drastically poorer due to inflation and reductions in purchasing power

The stock market has continued to do very well under Biden, mostly because it's been coddled by the Federal Reserve central bank combine. And, there's still tons and tons of 'pudge' money everywhere, while the Fed is still carrying a balance-sheet that is enormous (still up around EIGHT TRILLION DOLLARS). Meanwhile the national debt-versus-GDP is going back up into even more dangerous heights -- 123%, and rising! What does all this have to do with Biden? Not much....

Look, if you've been paying any attention to what's been going on since the "pandemic", it should be crystal-clear by now that Trump is not (NOT) going to be elected in November. And, it would be best for the country if neither Trump nor Biden were elected!

But believe this if nothing else -- the Democrat insiders and power brokers will make sure that Trump does not get elected in 2024. They'll almost certainly have Biden drop out of the race at their convention in August and be replaced by some hyperliberal, 'woke' POS like Gavin Newsom. But Trump? Forget it! He's finished.

Biden has already made it clear that he will do all he can to force electric vehicles down our throats with his editic for 2035 when ALL vehicles will have to be electric. The percentage of FORCED production of electric vehicles will be raised every year starting in 2026.

Of course Biden's dismal record on getting EV charging stations in place has had no effect upon his draconian orders. He's going forward, even if you can't charge the damned things.

I remember reading a post from a progressive on these boards who complained about Trump's campaign statement that he would put a 100% tariff on Chinese vehicles made in Mexico to protect the American automobile industry. This progressive said, "Shouldn't consumers have a choice?"
