    True, but it's just being kind of silly this year. We had a cooler April than what seems normal to me through May 1, then it suddenly turned nice and is only going to get nicer. It's not unusual for the middle of the continent, I think, where we depend so much on the air masses that move in and out. I can only imagine that the temps are more stable near the ocean.

    More rain and snow means more vegetation.

    More vegetation means more deer and elk.

    More deer and elk means I will become a very happy camper.
