Give yourself a break if you like: believing you have an unique insight regarding your op and this thread ought to be self evidently false if you are male as your profile asserts.

Do ou believe women should get 24-36 guaranteed paid sick days? Because no. The very few times in my life the cycle caused me to be absent from work, I called in sick. In my whole active ovary life, I think it was five times, maybe.

We have a couple of young girls here that needed a week off of work after the hurricane because of the "stress" of the hurricane. ( Which they were not here for and did not work the next two days of)

Meanwhile, during the hurricane I stayed here all by myself. And for the next two nights we had no power and we were not open I sat in my van in front of the store by myself in the dark all night long making sure the place was not looted.

I fart in the general direction of such noise. There.... I have painful gas and need some time off.

"Stress" my butt! I'd get into this more, but I hear you can get in trouble in this woke world for using words like "wuss".

Did I mention I also began to feel sick about 24 hours before the hurricane and was miserable the entire time? Not to mention that their week off put a strain on everyone else.

Cycles are not the same for all women, and neither is the discomfort women feel.
If a woman regularly cannot work properly when menstruating, she should go to her doctor. Something is wrong and it could be serious.

Oh, and here's another complicating problem. If we give this to women, then "trans women" will also be wanting it.

Heck, some men might even throw on a wig just to be able to get extra sick days from their company.

It still wouldn't be as many as men who skip work on a Monday because of a hangover from Saturday.

This is why women will never be equal. They don't want to be.

It's not gender equality. People only want equality in the benefits of being men but not in the drawbacks.

America's special interest groups say they want equality, but it is very obvious that what they really want is special treatment.

I think opioids cause more problems than they solve. I'm no fan of weed, but I'd say at least give weed (prolly edibles) a solid try before stepping up to opioids, especially as a treatment for something as regular as menstruation. Seems to me like thats just asking for an abusive addiction...

Your post noted the variable nature of symptoms, did it not? I, therefore thought it would be understood that I did not mean to suggest that all women in the country, of child bearing age, should be on Vicoprofen-- I am not a sales rep, for that Pharmaceutical manufacturer. So, sorry, if that was the impression you'd had. I had meant, in severe cases, specifically. And no, pot would most likely not do the trick, in those instances. Also, if a person only gets say 15 or so pills a month of this, to manage severe cramping pain which would otherwise be debilitating, it would only suffice them for their period, and would not be sufficient enough for them to develop a tolerance, from continual usage-- as they'd only have enough for 1 week per month-- which is what would be required, for this to lead to physical addiction. Psychological addiction can form with any substance, most certainly including marijuana.

I never once needed opioids for cramps, and I had a few truly bad ones. Pot or a muscle relaxer does the job fine.

Please, men, stop mansplaining our cycles to us.
