    There is a video in that article which appears to show protesters intentionally blocking the truck as it's moving. Other protesters can be seen clinging on to the truck. The video doesn't show the origination of this incident but there is a difference between a driver that intentionally drives into a crowd and a crowd that intentionally jumps in front of drivers.

    Driver should try to avoid hitting them. However, that does not mean pedestrians always have the right of way.

    true, but if a car hits them, the driver will be the one in trouble for failure to maintain control of his car and it the pedestrian dies, may even go to prison

    that said, none of that applies here

    you have provided no proof that sometimes it's ok to hit pedestrians

    even when they do not technically have the 'right of way', the driver does not have the 'right of way' to run them over

    this driver was in the wrong.... he should not of run down pedestrians

    Why are they protesting in Iowa and Arizona? Abortion isn't being banned there.
