    Have you ever known the planet to have so many serious problems - severe overpopulation, irrational greed, mass stupidity and climate change to name but four - all at the same time? I haven't. Wish that I could share your insouciance.

    Nope....I have never known other times, primarily because I was not around then. I find it likely that WWII times were pretty bad though. The folks in Alexandria probably had a tough time as well.

    Don't even get me started on the Black plague.

    Actually that will occur on February 16th 2054 at 7:46pm. The light show will be awesome if shortlived due to impending loss of a viewing platform.
