Here is something that makes me very nervous. I am self-employed and have 2 children. It is clear that Obama care was a life-saver for us considering the insane insurance cost for self-employed. I currently pay under 300$ for a family of 4.
The new Republican health care plan suggests less expensive health insurance (which does not make health care less expensive) but eliminates the Obamacare protections. I am, like millions of Americans, going to lose my affordable health insurance. Am I the only one who is not seeing the future in bright colors?
Allowing cheaper insurance at the cost of risking the health of others is really not a health care bargain.

Having a chronic condition that requires me to spend monthly on a prescription filling, I will struggle a lot.
My PCP suggested considering online filling. I asked how I can tell which sites are to trust and he suggested me to check for some designation on the sites, I can't recall which designation he said to look for.

I would appreciate an advice on how to evaluate the different websites where you can get prescriptions filled if anyone would like to share.

Yeah the new health care bill is a joke. Sorry to hear about your situation, I'm also self employed and wondering what it's going to do to my premiums...

I'd be really careful with filling online. There are review sites like this one which seems to do pretty in depth independent reviews of online pharmacies. But there's so many scams out there pharmacy wise.

Still, if you find a reliable one, definitely a good way to save money. Had a friend use one with success. Hope the same for you! Good luck!

No, I'm on Medicaid due to disability so I would have it regardless of the ACA.

I see what you mean. I will check it out. Still, giving a test with a sample order won't do much harm.
We were promised to lower premiums, right? It appears to hurt those that need health care the most and would create the issue with high premiums. That is affordable health care for all, not just for the few.

Glad someone has some kind of stability with healthcare. But who knows, maybe Medicaid cut is next. I do not think they will target disability though.

Try Costco. You do not have to belong to use their pharmacy and they saved me thousands on cancer drugs.

Are you not aware that the Republicans are making drastic cuts in Medicaid. Do yourself a favor and read the House bill immediatly.
