Like it or not, he would be a partisanly popular, incumbent war time president with a doggedly loyal base; historically speaking, U should know how that tends to work out...

Oh, and while I'm at it, your account of Korea & Vietnam is pretty laughable too, though to be expected. The 'political considerations' in Korea revolved around how not to start WW3, and racing toward the Chinese border chasing the remnants of the Nth Korean Army doesn't count as 'backing off'. So your fictional notion of the US 'backing off' in Korea had zero to do with China intervening.

Quite how people convince themselves of these fantasies is beyond me.

The total of ALL Registered Voters is 153 million per the Census.

Just under 130 million people VOTED in 2016.

That does NOT mean that those 23 million who did NOT vote were EXCLUSIVELY "non-college educated white men"!

Just for STARTERS at least HALF of that group are going to be WOMEN, not men!

Secondly the IMPOTUS only won 2/3rds of the white non-college educated vote and he is LOSING 19% of his Obama-Trump voters already.

Lastly, and by far the MOST IMPORTANT, is that the RV's who did not voter are MORE LIKELY to be the victims of GOP Minority Suppression efforts than anything else. This was proven in the 2018 election when Progressives appealed to this demographic and hammered the GOP with a record setting turnout!

Yes, the "white non-college educated voters" are going to SHRINK by 2.3% between 2016 and 2020 which means a loss of about 3.5 million votes for a NET LOSS of about 1.2 million votes for the IMPOTUS.

But the bad news for him does NOT end there!

Millennial turnout is INCREASING and it is much more DIVERSE than the Boomers which is going to hurt both the GOP and the IMPOTUS.

As mentioned briefly above a study of Obama-Trump supporters shows that his support has dropped by 19% already. That translates into 1% of the electorate overall and will probably be a 2% SWING against him in 2020.

Put all those numbers together and then ask WHERE is your IMPOTUS going to make up those deficits?

Ah, instead of whining about demographics, the Republican Party would be wise to embrace the immigrants and present them with better ideas—free market, individual rights, opportunities, and prosperity through self-effort against the Democrat Party’s offer of free hand outs, class envy, the unearned, and reparations for tribal victimization. Mass migration, legal and illegal, is bringing in millions of potential new voters who support gun control, socialized medicine, expanded welfare, free speech restrictions and resistance to immigration enforcement. Do the political math:

Illegal immigrant driver’s licenses + Motor Voter + Soros-funded naturalization and registration drives + anti-Trump resistance lawsuits against voter citizenship checks = recipe for systemic voter fraud, more amnesty, and a permanent Democratic ruling majority.

People have lived on this planet for a million years without the US immigration system. If they really want to move, there are like 200 other countries to move to. They are welcome to try to go there.
