IOW, Liberal Whites use smaller words and simpler subject material when they talk to Blacks. Conservative Whites speak to Blacks as equals. This is no surprise to those of us who watch Liberals treat Blacks as their pets, trying their best to keep Blacks uneducated and helpless with broken families and no working skills. insights.som.yale.edu/insights/white-liberals-present-themselves-as-less-competent-in-interactions-with-african-americans File this under "No *****, Sherlock".
" Liberal Whites use smaller words and simpler subject material when they talk to Blacks" The article does say this. "Conservative Whites speak to Blacks as equals." The article does not say this it says they use more complex words. "This is no surprise to those of us who watch Liberals treat Blacks as their pets, trying their best to keep Blacks uneducated and helpless with broken families and no working skills." The article mentions nothing even close to this conclusion. https://insights.som.yale.edu/insig...petent-in-interactions-with-african-americans
Research in "indirect forms of bias" shocker! There's an irony in a Conservative referring to it mind you, given the research refers to right wing authoritarianism...
no surprise here since liberals consider them to be pets that they give the occasional treat to for voting
Also perhaps no surprise that you didn't actually refer to the research? Don't be reliant on secondary/tertiary sources telling you how to think? Group thought is a horrible thing after all.
I don't need the research. I live in a very mixed state and I see white libs do this ALL THE TIME. No research will change what I see with my own eyes on an almost daily basis
Different people behave in different ways in different situations. Americans assume the differences are entirely due to skin colour. Americans need to stop blaming different subgroups of Americans for the generic American issues with race. The only way you're going to sort it out is together.
Strange, given you're on a thread referring to research. I would agree, particularly as I've looked at the research, that there is evidence of indirect forms of bias. Such outcomes mean, even if non-discriminatory policies are followed, discrimination will continue. But you realise that this evidence isn't supportive of right wingers? It refers to the research linking right wing attitudes with 'direct' prejudice after all.
