Well, it's taken long enough. This imposition should have been ended many years ago. Japanese have been urging successive governments to force the issue and now they've achieved partial success.
Where has the unwelcome trouble been shifted to ? Australia. Wakey, wakey, Ozzies. Why should Australia be subjected to ' pollution, accidents and crime ' ? The US of AIPAC already has a thousand military bases worldwide. Being part of this ' occupation ' belongs to yesterday.

That should cut the Okinawa rape statistics. Aussie women are generally taller and physically fit, and more likely to drop an attacker.

Its certainly unfortunate that the act of a vast minority of people would feed the anti-american fire of another minority. I wonder who they will blame now for the crimes and rapes that occur in Okinawa?

I suspect that they have formulated opinions of American white boys.

Incidentally, isn't nudity against forum rules ?

Those minor incidents are not the real reason why the people in Okinawa want a reduced US presence in their territory. Their anger stemmed from what happened in the closing days of the Second World War as Okinawa was the site of the last major campaign for US forces in the Pacific and the current Japanese government pledged to close a US base in Okinawa before the general election, recognising the strong desires of Okinawa residents. The Obama administration has been prevaricating on the issue for years but relocating thousands of US Marines has become much easier after Australia agreed to host a US base in Darwin.

No worries. I have some excellent tit studies to follow if it survives.

However, I can't imagine for a moment that the mods would allow your sneak porno shots of Billabong Maisie and her sisters. We'll see. Keep on trawling.

Incidentally, I believe that ' guts for garters ' is an Australian expression. Post #3 is accurate.

I wonder who they'll have to protect their asses from Chinese expansionism when they have no military, no navy, and no air force by Constitutional Law.

Will their people demand a Constitutional Amendment allow Japanese rearmament and engage in an maritime and aerospace arms race with the Chinese Hive Mind? How will the rest of the world react to that? The Russians certainly won't like it becuase they are still illegally occupying several Japanese Islands.

Is the rest of the world comfortable with the entire global manufacturing complex that is Asia involved in a cold war between two historical adversaires parked just off each other's shores?

It's miniscule and wholly unnecessary for the task of actually defending anything. They have a handful of destroyers, etc. but nothing that could stand up to a determined chinese expansionism.
