You know a lot of Hispanics look white or tanned. It's not the color that bothers me as much as it is the fact that millions of them are sneaking in here and think they are entitled. They don't have any real allegiance to this country. It would seem Liberals don't have a problem with it.

I hear you. I have served in the military with quite a few hard charging hispanics that were absolute patriots... even though a few only had green cards. I dont worry about Hispanics that hold allegiance to the U.S first and foremost... but I can see why alot refuse to assimilate into a system that is always going to label them as second class citizens.....

You never hear the term Euro-american from anybody... just white... or american.... add a little pigmentation and you will never be any more than a mexican-american , at best...never an american

 

I would imagine that some Hispanics inside some of these activist groups have yelled these things. But that does not make all Hispanics racists.....or even this group as a whole. One can always find a few inside any group that say things that do not represent the whole of the Hispanic population here in this country.

Hispanics and Mexicans have been in the country....and many of those families, at least here in Texas and probably California as well.....go back in our history as far or further than those in came from Europe in the early 1600's. Mexicans have certainly been a huge part of my state's history...and a few even fought against Santa Anna inside the Alamo.

The sentiment expressed by those "few" however misses a huge point. Mexicans and Hispanics and whites have been marrying each other inside our country forever.....so we're pretty much a mixed race now. When you come into America and become a citizen, you ARE American. Doesn't make you better....or worse....or more important....or less important....than those whose families came here in 1622. Obviously those "few" don't know this about our country yet. But give them time; they will learn.

I really grew to like the hard working Mexicans when in San Diego , we need to really figure this immigration crap out , I mean like today!!

 

Again I don't think it's skin color. It's the way many of them act. When playing Mexico in a soccer game in California a few years ago, they booed the American team and cheered the Mexican team. They put the Mexican flag stickers on their cars and trucks and many fly it on their homes or business. They really don't want to assimilate into our society or culture. like those that come in legally. One of my daughters is married to a Hispanic and my next door neighbor is Hispanic. Nice people. But they were also born here.

Whenever anything says "verified by Snopes" the very first thing I do is go to Snopes and check. 9 times out of 10 it's either completely false or it's a mixture of truth and falsehood put together in such a way as to be completely misleading. Was I surprised this time? Nope.

I also live in Texas and I can tell you that alot of Mexicans are infinetly better citizens in the U.S. than blacks could ever be. They are hard working, family oriented, church going and all around nice people. Sure there are bad apples in every group, but that doesn't mean it means the group as a whole are bad. I've dated some hispanic girls growing up and have some in my family too. Americanized mexicans are just like any other american. Patriotic and most can't speak spanish.

I don't think mexicans and hispanics will be some super minority like the census is predicting it'll be. They'll likely have large populations in the west and mid south portions of the U.S., but they won't be massively huge or anything. There will def be more hispanics than blacks though maybe twice as many.

Anywho. If you're a white male, you should be happy that there is going to be a large hispanic population here. Hispanic girls are crazy over white dudes i'm telling ya. And ya know, traditionally we've always been a black white nation and we've only ever had the option of white females because black women aren't exactly the nicest things to look at. So rejoice! New ethnic women being introduced to spur your interest.

Also: If you're white and you have a child with an hispanic the child comes out looking mostly white because alot of mexicans and hispanics have a hefty chunk of white european ancestry. A friend of mine has a half white half mexican son and he's got blonde hair.

 

Most of what was said was verified on Snopes. Most of the problem is with the younger Hispanics. Most older ones are pretty nice.

I don't think it's an accident that many nursing homes have large numbers of hispanic and black caregivers. And i use that term loosely. You white person, go into such a nursing home and your chances of survival are greatly diminished.

I don't think that's necessarily true. I think most people who come here the legal way are so glad they came and are more than willing to assimilate into our society. But we have many that sneaked in and have gotten the idea that this is really their country and it was stolen from them and they are going to take it back. When you hear stuff like that from elected officials, you can only imagine what many run of the mill Hispanic thinks. Especially the younger ones. They seem more than willing to let out their feelings now that they know there are way to many of them to evict. That's one of the reasons we need to secure our border before even considering what we do about immigration reform. I get a little upset when I hear some Liberals who think we should have open borders. Europe did that and now regret it.

 

If you're going into a race war. it better be soon before they have too many.
