One might note that political domination by a single demographic profile for the sake of vesting power in an elite sector of society is a conservative ideal, but representative democracy just doesn't work that way. The diverse American electorate participating and drawing from the entire talent pool, is a realization of America's ideal.
How about promotion based on ability? If white men happen to have the best ability they deserve the authority
When the American electorate draws upon its entire talent pool, that is how "ability" becomes a priority. Any one demographic profile proclaiming itself the most able and monopolizing governance restricts the People's opportunity to select the best.
It is a joyful occasion to see the further realization of the American ideal: Participatory democracy!
You never claimed the off color democrats are better qualifed Instead you went straight to their sex or skin color alone
I celebrate participation of all Americans in the democratic process, and leave it to the American electorate to decide who is best qualified to represent them.
You sound very fake when you pretend to speak for Democrats. Most elected Democrats are white, male, and Christian. Celebrating America's diversity in America's representational self-governance is not exclusionary.
I think we all know that the majority of people do not elect their candidates based on their relevant qualifications and instead choose based on sex or skin color. Trump had almost zero relevant qualifications and yet he won an overwhelming percentage of the white male vote.
So are Republicans. They are, after all, the ones trying to limit gay rights, transgender rights, restrict minority voting, and prevent immigration.
Male and female is a sex Homosexuality is a perversion Democrats count how many blacks, how many women, ect Thats racist and sexist
Of course. However, that has nothing to do with Americans drawing upon the broad range of talent within America's diverse populace in participatory self-governance. Here is an example in very red Kentucky in which a white, Christian male was decided by the electorate to be the superior choice to a female:
The republican white guy has to campsign on issues Democrat women and minorities get away with saying “vote for me cause I’m black or I’m a woman”
Its a common democrat theme Going back at least as far as the algore campaign where donna brazile said “we cant let the white boys win”
If that is what you need to tell yourself, that is what you will tell yourself. In the real world, White, male, straight, Protestant Charlie Baker (R) was just overwhelmingly re-elected governor over his Democratic Hispanic challenger by one the the most liberal, Democratic electorates in the nation, the best-educated Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Your divisive, hyper-partisan politics is not good for America.
That was certainly the case with a lot of people in 2008. Which, of course, is total bullshit. Trump was the owner and chief executive of an international real estate development firm before he was elected president. For those who haven't been living under a rock for their entire lives, here is the conglomerate he ran: The Trump Organization https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Trump_Organization To all the clueless or dishonest individuals out there who think and claim he was just a reality TV host, it was his position and experience as CEO of organization firm that got NBC to hire him to do The Apprentice. It's ridiculous that this needs to be explained to the Leftists who voted for a community organizer who had zero relevant qualifications for the job of CEO of a large complex organization, but it speaks volumes about their boundless dishonesty and hypocrisy.
