Nonesense. The tribes were driven out of natal by slave raiding whites from the south and east coast. The zulu were a small unit whom united the scattered tribes in order to crush the white slavers and thieves.

 

Interesting. I know a lot of African American, Hispanic, and White Christians and they all seem to have the same ideas on the messiah.

 

When reading about the Comanches i found out that captives were always killed by native Americans, and it could be very tortuous and inhumane depending on the savagery of the tribe. One poster said his grandfather and others were so sickened by the screams at night of those being tortured, that they killed them all.

I'm not condemning native Americans, since pre Christian Europe was no different. If the Spanish committed crimes - which they did of course, in comparison they had to have been miniscule to those who lacked the boundaries of a Christian/Judaic world. So let's not romanticize.

Alexa I have news for you, no matter what people do and what the emissions are, it will not have the affect that one large volcanic eruption will have like the one in 536AD. It darkened the skies in the northern hemisphere, and threw the world into the dark ages for decades. This is what started the invasions for survival that destroyed the Western Roman Empire.

The earth has been heating up for quite a few years now, and not because of what we're doing, (that is, with the exception of destroying the natural order by our sins). It has to do with the Sun's flare ups and plasma and how it affects the earth. Other than the many earthquakes going on all over the globe, there are at least 3 new volcanic eruptions every day. What's worse for us in the US, is that there are hotspots around old volcanic fields in the US, and that's why fires are breaking out. I fear worse!

Actually, Africans kept Africans as slaves. Arabs had African slaves. Arabs had white
slaves. Aztecs made every enemy a slave. Jews were slaves in Egypt. Jews kept
slaves too. Most of Sparta was slave.
Been reading about the British War in Zanzibar in 1896, the "world's shortest war" and
it was to stop the Zanzibar slave trade. The famous story of the killer lions of Tsavo in
Kenya was about lions which ate people discarded from Arab slave trader caravans. The
British stopped this slave trade.

It's all complicated.

Zulus began their murderous march by driving out or killing native South Africans. I
doubt they had even seen a white person when they formed their first 'impi.'

Its not complicated at all. You try to complicate it by inventing myths like mfecane but the reality is as simple as it appears. White [slavers] invaded the cape and the east looking for humans to enslave and gold to steal. The zulu were the only nation capable of withstanding the white hoardes and eventually took their nation back thanks to mandela etc. Youre just mad that you couldnt turn south africa into another america. There is no law against spilling blood in Christianity. Only a law against killing since a person's soul and their eternal destiny is paramount. The longer a person lives, the greater their chance to repent and unite with their Creator after death.

Sounds like projection, or someone wants to attribute the civil punishments towards a dissident group in a certain era to the Catholic Church. By doing so, they're discarding the Churches civilizing aspect in a very pagan world. Considering that most of our history was written by Protestants who had their own grievances, I would question what they wrote, especially when considering that with the exception of Ireland, the English managed to convert all of Britain in 100 years.

This was something that even the Turks weren't able to do in the Balkans in 400 years - and they certainly weren't known for their humanity.

In another post you said American Christians are racist, but cultural and racial supremacism has always been a Western trait and has nothing to do with Christianity. That the most devout Christians in the US are Blacks, should speak volumes. The problem with most Christians is that they can't understand their faith outside of their own upbringing and so they try to impose their own traditions on others. This is known as fundamentalism and it is considered spiritual immaturity.

 

And that is unfortunate as it's a beautiful continent.

The big question is why does it matter to you what color anybody, including a messiah, is? That’s what’s most interesting. You can’t provide evidence it matters to anyone but you.
