So a mentally ill person with a firearm was harassing an innocent child. I'm not getting the part where he chased him down and threatened him, but he's the victim?

 

but apparently the "child" was on the phone with an overweight drag queen so it is a freak show all around.

 

Well George was seeing a psychologist and taking a cocktail of uppers and downers... but he's always played bully and victim.

 

If you lose your moral authority for talking to fat chicks then you'd have been morally bankrupt in 6th grade. And still a virgin.

 

Totally, I was just pointing out the obvious.

 

This is not going well for the prosecution and as I predicted heads are exploding in the martin camp

anyone want to bet that prosecution will do a tap dance on their privates and pull travon's mom up on the stand next week to testify about the "get off get off" voice and somewhere in the process she will open the door to travon's past behavior ?

The dehumanization of Rachel Jeantel—the laughter, the disbelief—is rooted in the same attitude that causes people to treat unarmed black kids with suspicion, to follow them around subdivisions for no good reason. Trials ebb and flow.. In some areas the prosecution did fine.. We now know that GZ trained MMA three times a week for 3 hours a session.

Hey Margot, I am waiting for your scathing comments about Dee Dee's weight and other physical characteristics, you went on and on and on about the 100 pounds Zimmerman gained. I am interested in your comments since you seem to enjoy pointing out the flaws in other people. You must have a 1000 posts about how stupid and ignorant George Zimmerman is, you should have a field day with this Dee Dee character.

 

After watching the news on trial day 5, the prosecution's witness that everyone would have thought was the defenses witness is not looking too good for the outcome of the Martin family. This could very well end up like Rodney King de javu all over again

 

care to point out where the prosecution did fine? I must have missed that part. Their "star" witness came off as a habitual liar and untrustworthy and I was being honest yesterday in wondering who had called Good and Manalo to the stand and it came out that Martin was on top and Zimmerman was yelling for help as he was being pounded on. Then the PA when she said that clinically Zimmerman was diagnosed with a broken nose and the beating could have caused life threatening injuries ( sub deural hematomas)

got to remember the crux of Zimmerman's case is that he was in fear for his life at the moment he pulled the trigger, anything else is just noise

 

As a continuation from the previous thread, i saw people posting absurd statements.

Saying that trayvon mounting someone MMA style and beating his ass, is the same as 14 yr old defending herself from a someone follwing her a few blocks and trying to hurt her.

The difference is trayvon went from self defense to an assault, so he is no longer the innocent victim some make him out to be.

 

if Martin had simply punched Zimmerman in the nose and told him to F off and walked away all of this could have been avoided, but no he had to do a macho beat down on the " creepy cracker"

Margot....I love your heart and compassion but wearing a T-shirt printed with the word victim on both the front and back while going through life's journey is the most unhealthy thing you can teach.

 

OMara began asking hypotheticals to divert you. She gave testimony that George was proscribed Lodine ( like aspirin) and required no stitches.

 

I agree with you on that... George has played both bully and victim his whole life.
