I am above all anger or thoughts of revenge through dismemberment , despite loving blood . So your remark is treated with a smile because those Americans in the REAL WORLD , know differently. So cute when they are buying the beers .
what is the changing world? a world buildt upon intl bankers pulling the string on any ideology for their interest? lol..nothing has changed.... just the realization who really are the movers and shakers... Besides the Old believers like the amish would be protected under religious freedom according to the bill of rights in america.
We went through that yesterday . Have you been knocking back the Tequila again? If not , I trust it is not the first hint of Dementia . You are doing well for a man in his seventies , but don't be complacent . Remember what happened to your friend Alfredo Garcia
Hey Ray, There's a tramp in town today. His name is Cameron. He's here representing you. No one here likes him or any one he represents.
Sorry to disappoint you but Butch Baby Hillary told Obama that this was the only guy who might get the US out of the mess it is in . Which is why he is getting Royal treatment and will be paraded as a hero for Americans in the next couple of days . Of course he is an Eton man , trained as a Scholar , General and Gentleman . He will be giving Obama the top MI6 advice for Syria , Lebanon and the Iran . There is hope that we can get the US out of another fine mess . Be brave and pray , Bertie .
You seem to think I have a problem with the current state of affairs in America. Erroneous assumptions lead to surprises.
I think you do not know enough about Old Believers to make conclusions about the reasons of their leaving from the world. As to me, I'm just the realist which does not trust in legends. The world changes but the human nature does not. The enlarged number of wars after the collapse of the USSR is just the additional confirmation of these words.
I do not think so. But bankers and a part of American political elite thinks so. I'm talking about the objective situation that causes people to do certain things.
Your first sentence is probably correct. However, the analogy is apt. The Old Believers are like many Russians today. They cling to the past out of fear of the future. Russia faces many threats. But none of them come from America.
There is one huge area of potential Russian weakness . We all know Russia has little or no thriving economy outside of natural resources .Under Putin there will be little change , so , if Russia's export markets are squeezed , or even halted , Russia dies financially . And very quickly . NATO surrounds Russia to the West and effectively the South . If America manages to confuse the Eastern side , which it tries to do , Russia could be in mega trouble --- lots to sell but "nobody" to buy . In business terms , Russia is not trusted and capital outflow since the Georgia and Ukraine spats has been huge . Worryingly so .Also , Europe is very keen to reduce dependency on Russian Gas supplies -- currently about 25%of its total requirement . In total there are huge potential problems for Putin . I am not convinced he has the will to face them .I think he will exit in the next three years , if he manages to survive that long . His true private motivation for being a far ranging and long vision President is in doubt .imho.
I must say you are one of the most interesting members of this forum. You sound like a commodities trader. I agree with your post. Russia faces economic, demographic and Han Chinese problems. America isn't going to get involved. We are busy ripping our country apart. American conservatives and leftists treat each other only marginally better than the way the Russians treat Chechens. Things over here are not going to get better. They are going to get much much worse. Russia is like America in a number of ways. It can't adapt quickly enough to a rapidly changing world. And the reason for that is primarily in their psychology. They are trapped in an outmoded worldview. America and Russia are like a couple of elderly old men pretending they are still handsome. Actually, Russia and America have much in common. But nothing will ever come of it. Russians have difficulty getting over bruises inflicted in the rough and tumble of international affairs. It took Russia about half a century to get over the Crimean War and come to the point where it could work with Britain and France in the Triple Entente. Someday Russia will need American assistance. By that point in time America will probably have gone the way of the Soviet Union.
Thanks for the nice nod . It is reciprocated , which is why I take liberties with you and not my best friend Zook .!!! Shall I treat myself to a Brandy at 9.00am GMT ? Perhaps not . As I said earlier , "It takes one to know one" I traded in commodities until this time last week . Now I am a buttons trader . Thank God it is not my income source . We have sorted Russia and America so I think I will now turn to my list of , "Those to terminally upset".
Do not take offence, but your posts remind me a lullaby song. "Everything is all right, bye baby bye, sleep my baby, fall asleep." Of course Russia faces many threats. They come from different directions including the USA. You just do not want to recognize some actions as threats. Some facts: at 1986 Gorby had got from Reagan verbal assurances, that in the case of disintegration of east block NATO will not be extend to the East. Where are now these assurances, and where are borders of NATO? Why the USA tries to create missile defense complex near to our borders? In the beginning of this century the USA have organized and have paid some so-called color revolutions in the republics of former Soviet Union which have led to the authority in these republics the extremely antiRussian politicians. First of all I mean such republics as Ukraine and Georgia. This fact has negatively affected at mutual relations between Russia and these republics. At 2008 even had taken place the military conflict between Russia and Georgia. By the way Georgian army was trained by American military experts and equipped with the American arms. These are just a part of the facts. Though there are some threats in which we have common interest. So we prefer Americans in Afghanistan instead of Talibian Gog and Magog. Not everything are so primitive, in this world.
Potato , The Georgian army has only 312 people in it , and half of them work four days "On " and three days" Off". The Russians , who admittedly are not very good , have hundreds of thousands . No wonder Mikheil asked for help . He was close to a heart attack when the nasty invaders came through the Roki Pass .
Your Mikheil is just a piece of crap .Georgia as the state(Country) = it is just much ado about nothing
Firstly Misha kills Russian peacemakers, after that he gets a heart attack and chews ties when nasty Russian invaders came through the Roki Pass. He knew what to do and he had reliance on U.S. help in this conflict. But has miscalculated. Idiot Misha is too little reason to start war against Russia for Americans. In this part Albert Di Salvo is rights. America has too many other problems.
You and Evil are brain washed . Russia provoked war for months beforehand and the invasion date was known three weeks beforehand , leaked from the military in Moscow . I published the War start date on July 19th, 2008 and it started August7th/ 8th from memory . There are numerous witness statements from captured Russian conscripts and returning Russian soldiers, before the FSB could silence them . So save your rubbish for other people . The joke was that Georgia hammered the useless conscripts for the first two days . Things only changed when Moscow launched a huge Cyber attack and called in the Chechens --- Vostock Brigade . This is one Dude who knows about this incident in colossal detail -- as opposed to reading censored and edited Russian media sources . Tell your stories to the gullible and the Red Indians . rofl Russian Peacekeepers are the same as US Peacekeepers in Libya and Syria -- Elite Special Forces .Stop your naivety
Hey ,Ray brainwashed, you can filed a complaint to The Hague. Because Georgia military accident with Russia was as consequence of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Republic_of_Kosovo
I am well aware of the Hague's report but sometimes we have to live with priorities set by the greater issues . By the time that was written there were much more important things to consider like the Restart development agreements and future Gas supplies . Sometimes you have to give with one hand to take with the other .
This means that your opinion about the 'Georgia's military accident with Russia' is complete nonsense.
If you are not, the US could always get out. More: http://www.rferl.org/content/russia_nato_missile_system_united_states/24471877.html
