Why Is Obama Hurting America?

I've often thought that if a president wanted to hurt America they would do what Obama is doing. Today, I found this viddy and it expresses that thought so well. Please watch it before you comment.

The reason that energy is expensive (as the idiot in the video says), is because of the GLOBAL OIL MARKET.

It is because China is OIL HUNGRY.

It is because India is OIL HUNGRY.

It's about SUPPLY and DEMAND.

The DEMAND is going UP.

Oil comanies are making RECORD PROFITS.

Anyone who believes the nonsense in this video is surely a simpleton or outright partisan.

 

Guess what .. my Gas Prices have gone DOWN 25 cent over the last 2 weeks ... is that President Obama's FAULT?

It will almost be interesting if Obama does not get reelected, and Romney gets in there and starts blaming everything on Obama, just like the Republicans accuse Obama of doing with Bush. It will be nice to make them eat their words when we tell them they can't blame their problems on the guy before him. Of course, they'll do it anyway, because there's a clear double standard when it comes to who's allowed to do things and who isn't. That rule is simple. If the Republicans are in power, it's okay to do what they do. If they aren't, it's not.

 

First off this guy on video is nothing more then an apologist for oil firms and its very obvious that its a political driven video clip (after all this is an election year) so you have to discount the clip based on the lack of merit; secondly if anyone really thinks that the President is sitting behind his desk dreaming up ways to hurt our country I think they are so sadly misguided. While I did not think that GW Bush acted in the best interests of our country on most things, not for once did I not claim he was sitting behind a desk wanting to hurt our country. He honestly believed that his decisions were in the bests interests of the country. And I honestly believe that of each and every President we've had felt the same way or at least I've not seen any evidence to the contrary.

 

The U.S. public's dependence on the federal government "assistance" (health care, housing, welfare, education, housing subsidies) increased 23% in just two years under President Obama, while nearly 67 million Americans rely on some type of federal program to accommodate for their everyday needs. Perhaps those individuals who prefer a smaller, limited government have been unemployed for a long period of time and cannot find a job in "Obama's" sluggish economy which only added a 120,000 jobs in the month of March, 2012 not to mention the fact that the economy grew a dismal 1.6% in Real GDP growth in fiscal year 2011. The average price of gallon of gasoline has increased 103.79% since President Obama took the oath of office in January, 2009.

It's The Year 2012 ... and it's Hi time Liberals give Conservatives a taste of what they have been dishing out for decades.

When Obama took office, the economy was tanking at a -9% real rate, losing 700,000+ jobs a month, unemployment was skyrocketing upward, and the stock markets were crashing in the worst recession in 80 years. The housing market was destroyed and the economy was headed straight for a depression.

But now the economy has been growing steadily for more than two years, the private sector has created jobs every month for more almost two years, stock markets are up almost 100% from their recession lows, and the unemployment rate has fallen from above 10% to 8.2%, and over 4 million private sector jobs have been added since Jan 2010.

Only those invested in failure for political purposes could claim Obama has been hurting America.


If you want to look at hurting America, look at the last guy you all put in the WH.

 

Gas prices have been falling for the past few weeks, at a time when many conservatives claimed we'd see prices shooting up past $4/gal to $5/gal.

Did you give Obama credit for that?

In fiscal year 2011, the economy produced a dismal 1.6% in Real GDP growth not to mention the fact the economy shredded an average of 400,000 job losses for 17 consecutive weeks.
Once again, we can place sole blame on President Obama's ("I mucked it up" ) economic policies for his failure to stimulate substantial job growth in fiscal year 2011.

It shattered after about the 3rd post or so and now it's time to resort to the tried and true method of accusing others of not addressing the issue.

 

So what does the above chart tell you?

But despite the problems in Japan and Europe and the Tea Party Republican debt ceiling extortion fiasco, we did not have one negative quarter. And last quarter it was back at 3.0% again.

That's just what happens when you try to take care of something you don't have any understanding of.
It's like when I was a kid, whenever I could catch a wild animal, I would. Then I'd try to keep it as a pet. It never worked out. They always died. It's because I didn't have a clue what I was doing and I shouldn't have been doing it in the first place.
