The Rabbi fail. They failed in 32AD to even recognize that their own expected Elijah had returned as promised. They failed to acknowledge that a man who never died, according to their own scriptures, came back after an absence of 800 years. That is a pretty big "fail." The Rabbi MUST have mmisunderstood the bible, and then they compounded that by writing a Talmud which has replaced the bible to the extent that the Talmud tells Jews what the bible is supposed to mean.

Muhammed just could not get his head aound the Trinity idea which the preachers from Rome were telling the Arabs about back there in 622AD. Of course, those preachers, like the same ones today, are hard to understand. Butstill, Muhammed got it wrong, then the political machinery jumped in and used what Muhammed said to stop the Christian evangeklism. The politicians saw all Rome fall under the control of Christianity, and they realized this was a psychological invasion by the swarms of locust that were rushing into Arabia and building congregations and churches. So Muhammed used the confusion about the Trinity to stop them. He made everyone cry out "Allah is one" evr day five times so as to under cut the Trinity story. Very very effect, but a lie. If the preachers had first said Christ was the personification of the ideal of Truth as opposed to Satan's lies, the trinity woulkd have been clear. Truth is the son-of-the creator God, Truth is the image in the mind of what actually exists. Truth does have a father in the ever unfolding Reality that we all must bow down to or suffer insanity. Truth is in the father, reality, and the facts of Reality are in the son, called Truth. Allah is NOT exactly "one," because the Truth is man's copy of the Reality external to himself.
If you "return" to earth as a newborn, that aint someone who never died. Besides, John the baptist aint Elijah, he just came in the "spirit and power of Elijah." That might be confusing to some, since Jesus tells us on at least 3 occassions that John IS Elijah. And I don't think you understand the timeline on when the bible was written, son.

people have tried to separate god into their own religions, they have taken truth and mixed it with myth for profit and control, simple as that... organized religion you can find truth in every religion if you look hard enough one of the hardest things for people to do is see what is not truth... my beliefs believe in a virgin birth, I call that myth, doesn't make me less a believer, I just accept that not everything passed on thru the ages is the truth .
The thing is God is not a part of any religion......Jesus did not preach religion He preach and lived the kingdom of God. Man created religions and mainstream Christianity is just another that is foreign to the kingdom of God.

As a non Christian I detest the Old Testament... but I have a profound respect for the New Testament. The reason... Jesus. I could care less if Jesus is God or was a mere mortal man... his teachings were extraordinary either way and a model for us all. Just wish more Christians acted like Jesus.
Detesting the Old Testament is detesting Jesus because not only is Jesus the God in the Old Testament but it also spoke about Jesus. And if you respected Jesus you would also believe Him and that He said He existed before Abraham.
