Pls answer me one simple question. Why is Al Qaeda such a great threat that an entire nation had to be taken down to destroy that group yet in Libya, the US is aiding and abetting Al Qaeda?

What difference does it make if someone signed a piece of paper or not or how they acquired nuclear weapons.

What matters is how dangerous is the country who has the weapons. Compared to Israel, Iran has a far peaceful history so Israel having nuclear weapons is more of a threat than Iran possessing them (specially when it does not even have it yet).

Let's make a deal. I will agree that Iran should not have nuclear weapons if you agree Israel should not. I will agree to war against Iran for the same reasons but first we have to go against the bigger threat and that would be Israel. Sounds fair huh?

Iran signed a pact that they would get help for peaceful nuclear power in return for a promise that they wouldn't pursue military nuclear power. And we are going to hold them to it.

This argument isn't going anywhere, so I have a proposition, but first I have a question that must come first: If Iran is going for nuclear weapons, and they want to use them to destroy Israeli cities, should Israel stop them? This is not a trap, so give me a clear answer, I think you might like the proposition I have coming.

 

There's no evidence that Iran is going for nuclear weapons to destroy Israeli cities.

Israel already has weapons and commits atrocities against its neighbors on a daily basis. Who knows when it will use its nuke on them. Should not Iran have the right to acquire a nuke to prevent such a thing happening?

If two nations have a nuclear weapon, none of them is gonna use them because using it would also spell their own destruction since the other would retaliate in the same way. However, if only one nation has it then any time it is in trouble, it can easily use it any time it is threatened.

So tell me what exactly would Iran do with a nuke even if it acquires it. If it uses it, Israel does the same and both nations are destroyed.

Israel though poses a great threat for the rest of the region since it is not only the biggest rogue in the region but also has nukes to boot. The only way its neighbors can feel safe is if they also have nuke so can cancel out that threat. Do they not have as much a right to make themselves safe as Israel?
