Every time I read a quote from Ahmadinejad in re, the destruction of Israel, it's always the same, he predicts doom and gloom for Israel but he himself never says Iran will be the one to deliver the doom and gloom.

AND, the author of the article being reported claims that the Iranian leader "threatens Israel". here's the snip:

Ahmadinejad make some statements. I don't see him promising that Iran will deliver the threat.

It's been that way all along.

 

They have to misquote and exaggerate though, in order that others get as scared as they are.

What does Iran have to gain by attacking Israel?

Iran wants to develop nuclear power plants which they have needed since the 1970s.

What does Israel want?

The eventual domination of Shia Islam over Sunni Islam once they prove themselves "worthy" to Muslims worldwide by destroying western "imperialist" cancer cell...It's all based on religious zealotry, which has always been one of the primary causes of wars.

Now, you answer the same question? What does Israel have to gain by attacking Iranian nuclear weapons program? Surely not land, they have no common border, the campaign and its consequences will cost Israel tens of billions of dollars. So why would Israel want to do it...besides the obvious explanation of course, that they are indeed the first target of Iranian nuclear weapons program,
