It makes sense you'd ask this question. Are you the one to talk to about that?

    Lol

Please refresh my memory, I must have missed all these executions!

What? She said the city in Syria was cleaner than NY. Before the war. It so simple. There are many places cleaner that New York. If it upsets you so much, clean up the dirty parts.

Is it against the law to say a place in the US is dirty? I showed you a link which ranked New York the dirtiest city in the States. Have you written them an angry letter yet?

Why? It's not a big deal. Some cities are cleaner than others. This is fact.

It really is not worth getting worked up over.

But smearing Syrians with bull(*)(*)(*)(*) is perfectly fine?

Haha let me guess, you are fluent in Arabic and frequently listen to Damascus radio stations.

Who's "they?" Americans? There are some who deny it as well.

So, in 1998, Damascus radio allegedly suggested, based on the work of researchers from around the world, that the Holocaust was exaggerated, and in your fantasy world this then means that all Syrians deny the Holocaust.

    Ya Allah...

And you accuse Albert of trolling for negative attention?

The real rich people today actually tend to be Democrats. They're cleaning up these days.

Of course he doesn't, but don't let that get to you. America has become a nation of trolls, and "Snappo" seems to be a fine example of that.

California is a Blue State. The wealthy and the poor together compose more than half the populace of the state.

SyrianGirl1982, it does not really matter what label you claim, as long as you keep true to your Imani, which is obedience to Allah and establishing nothing as His equal, you are doing fine.

Is Snappo one of those Zionists who are hell bent on all nations in the Near East as well as that Far East being destroyed in the name of some imaginary nonsense which has caused the shedding of so much blood over the years? If he isn't, his posts on this thread certain real like he is one of them.

This is in reference to Snappo and his love affair with New York City:

I used to live in NYC for about fifteen years, so I have extensive experience and knowledge about said city, its inhabitants, the lifestyle and most of its districts so what I say comes from experience and not conjecture.
New York City is overcrowded, overpriced, and without the "glitz and glamour" of the Theater District, Times Square District, The Financial District, City Hall and some of the well known museums, NYC would not be worth mentioning in polite conversation. The Diamond District is built upon shells games, thievery and dishonesty, heck, you can get real gold in China Town, Canal Street at cheaper prices. Columbia is a University and NOT a college; there is a difference between a college and a university, the Garment District is another fraud that is a shell of what is was once proclaimed to be.
From what I gather, Snappo is in fact either a virulent Zionist or a sycophant and it shows in his posts. I caught onto it by what he mentioned in the post of what he exulted. Heck, the smaller museums and theaters in New York City are far better and schedule better exhibits, plays, movies and documentaries than the larger ones. This is my point, there are smaller cities within the United States that are far more superior than New York City but this is a matter of opinion, something that Snappo and mex-whatever seem to overlook in their rants about NYC, immigrants and the like. To answer the question that is bound to arise in the minds of many, NO I AM NOT AN IMMIGRANT!

What about the parts of the Koran that talk about killing infidels and enslaving others? There are plenty of pretty hard-core instructions about wiping out the non-muslims on this planet.

Israel makes all of about one percent of the land mass of the Middle East. Why is it OK for you muslims to have purely muslim countries, religious cities of importance like Mecca and Medina, but if a Jew wants a homeland and a city of religious importance like Jerusalem; suddenly Zionism is a horrible concept? The bloodshed isn't because of Jews; it's because muslims don't want the Jews to own Israel.

Are you asking for chapters and verses from Koran that detail those instructions? I can do that if you want to sit here and deny those exist. Do you want to deny those instructions exist in Koran? That is a yes or no question.

Because they have been the majority and lived there for 3 thousand years.

You do know that Abraham had an Arab wife and 6 sons by her.

If you are not an immigrant, are you suggesting you were born in USA? You don't come off as an American. And only an idiot needs a complete list of every tourist thing available in NYC in a post. So good job saying the list wasn't complete. I also never said in any post "Columbia College". Everyone knows it's a university, and except for you everyone also knows a university is just comprised of more than one college. What other stupid garbage did you say? Oh yes - that NYC would be nothing without a few of the more popular attractions. Good luck finding all that NYC has to offer in one smaller city. The many plays, cultural areas, museums, the zoo, etc. NYC has it all. That is why it is overpriced; and why places like Kansas City or Portland aren't.

You have proof all those people in the Old Testament existed? Really? If Abraham did exist, then yes - he was screwing some arab handmaiden, supposedly with Sarah's OK. But folks like Abraham, Noah, Moses, Adam and Eve - I am not sure those are much more than fairy tales. And I would remind you that the oldest proof we have of Jewish existence in the area is King David. Muslims didn't even concoct their religion until about 700 AD.

Watching your performance on this forum is pretty interesting. You have unwittingly conjured into existence on PF a coalition of Muslims and Conservatives to oppose you.

I am not interested in religious matters. I do not obey Allah, al-Assad or anyone else. The only thing that guides me is common sense and my own morals.

You can't just pick up the Quran and hadith, read them and learn to practice the religion correctly. Tell me, are you a jurist?

=/ I notice many born Muslims say such heresy and yet call themselves Muslim or Sunni.

Purely Muslim countries? Besides Mecca, non muslims live throughout the whole Middle East.

    - - - Updated - - -

BTW, I find it overly hilarious someone got so pissy over an immigrant saying NYC was dirty. So, can only native born Americans criticize? NYC IS pretty dirty. Just like Baltimore and Philadelphia

I am a Syrian first. Nationalism is more important than religion. The Middle East is going backwards and on the wrong path. We need less religion, more secularism and more nationalism. There is too much influence of the Saudi-funded wahhabi and salafist groups. It causing all of the hate and wars that we see in ME today.

Read European history and see for yourself how well nationalism is. I will agree, there needs to be more secularism, but in the form of secular education as well as Islamic education. The Middle East has been kept in line for the west through Nationalism and pure secularism, resulting in dictatorships.

You are going for one extreme in response to another extreme.

But hey, I am not from Middle East, and will probably never live there.

The governments should promote secularism in everyday life, schools, universities. Those who want to study religion are free to do so, but only in state sanctioned religious centers. Wahhabism, salafism and other radical ideologies need to banned by the government. Ban all the Saudi, Qatari, Pakistani imams from entering Syria and glorifying wahhabi and salafi ideology. Guarantee the right of all other religions minorities to practice as well.

I will agree with the bold. All Imams whose qualifications come with attending known wahabi schools should be banned. Let them stay in Saudi Arabia. Don't send them to the west or anywhere else.

A Muslim should obey Allah before anyone else.
