Not that pretty. Just a utility trailer with side rails and some uprights to hold sheets of drywall and plywood. I'll end up putting it up for sale once finished in an effort to recoup my costs.

Sounds like a good hobby. My first old man had a deer lease with a little trailer like the one in the pic parked on it. I actually liked that little rig... it was real cozy. Esp during deer season when it was colder'n a well diggers butt out there.

My grandma and grampa came to OK from CA in one of those. It
was pulled by a Ford Falcon. @ 1965.

It's 10:30 and Smartie Pants ain't nowhere to be seen.

And where's Falena after my invitation to learn her some pool?

I hope that's Falena's real picture and not a phony. Otherwise Max
has a lot of explaining to do...

What's going on around this place? I ordered a beer and there's nothing.
I pinched a girl on the butt and didn't get as much as a slap on the face.

What's a guy to do to get some attention?

    Where are my pants?

Hey, I'm sleepin' under that table, move your butt. I said move it not wiggle
it. Hey, you're kinda cute... I guess you can wiggle it...

I'm Prunie, what's yours? Fa what? Oh, Smarlena? No? I'm going to
pass out. Wake me when it's Tuesday... I'm havin' too much fun?

    Far-tie? I hope not...

Make that Wednesday... No, Friday afternoon sounds better...

    Jayzeeus that's small!

I'd feel like I was in a glorified porta-potty if I had to fit in that thing. :omg:

I've thought about building a camping/kayak trailer. I have a large boat trailer that would serve the purpose but haven't done anything with it.

Good morning, barflies. Meeting members of my HS class for a luncheon today. Should be interesting. 50 people are signed up to attend and I bet I don't remember a single one! Oh well... might be fun. Even the capt of the drill team is 'old' now. Age is a great equalizer. LOL

No room for a potty... you'd need another trailer for that! ;)

It's a very gloomy and slow day here in the heartland of kentuckiana.
I used to love these kinds of days back when I spent entire afternoons in
deep thought, wraped around a novel. Then later wraped around a joint and
some needed Booze.I gave up the Mary Jane years ago.I could never see even
attempting a mere toke.Because it IS an addictive psychological force.
Therefore aptly named the devils weed.
I grew up with summers entirely outside, either on the beach or in
minimum wage summer jobs.I also learned an important lesson from a
former buddy who passed away around 5 years ago.He was a Pot head
and his family owned what he termed a " baby farm ". He was employed by
my father first as a yard boy for his Estate and then at McD's.We got chummy at
McD's as I loved beer & pot and so did he.In fact,he used to travel around in his
car with one them little Playmate coolers.he had like 4 beers all the time ready to
go for when he got off work { he got a premium shift at McD's ,the same hours every day
    3 -7pm } as a grillman.He attended an Electronics school { REITS } during the
daytime in the big city. When he got off he had his premium shift at McD's.
On his days off he never spent a minute inside. When the sun was up,he was up.
Like some farm animal. He was committed to making sure if the sun was out then
he had to be out.Of course he also had an addictive personality.he was addicted to
beer and pot .Not much later it turned to Bourbon.
But it was that bidness of the sun and summer and having like the dickens to
be out in the sun no matter what. That is what turned me off about summers and
being out in the sun,no matter what.
It brought back memories of our Summer home and how certain older woman
spent entire afternoons out on the beach.Like it was written on the wind.
There ain't nuthin' written on the wind ceptin' survival.
That and bein' a Good neighbor.
My buddy died, they say on account he drank himself to death.
he married his high school sweetheart and eventually moved and settled
in another city. There was rumors he abused { beat her }. I knew it to be
believable.I saw him and his gal on many an occasion and he treated her
like his chattel property. She wasn't allowed to interrupt him when he got
to tellin' a story.I never butted in except one time. That was towards the end
and he got to be really cocky that he owned her and could tell her to
" shut up,I'm talkin' ". I never saw that before from any of my buddies.
I was one of 3 guys expected to be his best man.I passed on the entire
wedding.I knew he was out of control { the bourbon & pot } and was a
Big Momma's boy.Whenever he got stinko { drunk } he was abusive and a bully.
I saw it enough to know I didn't want to be associated with him anymore.
I did attend his Funeral at the last minute { I got a call the day of the
' funeral } and watched as his Farmer father who wore his only suitcoat
{ it wasn't dark, but beige } walked behind his sons casket hobbling as to
being weary from farm work.I noticed a few of gary's old friends who were
almost unrecognizable. The mass was in a small town Catholic church my
Parents also attended. My father having died years earlier.
But it was that Bidness of The Suns up and I'm up.
That is what sticks in my craw, even today.
I don't think gary was bad as much as a combination of Momma's boy
and he never asked anyone for help ever monetarily.
Virtually anything he bought he did so with money he saved up.
When he bought his new RX7 he did so with the money he saved up.
Saved up by living at home till age 23 and doing farm chores.
But it was his attitude that struck me.He never went a day w/o
commenting how much he Loved his Mom and his girl. And making it
a special point to say if anyone dared to hurt either his mom or girlfriend
what he'd do to them. Then years later,I learn he was smackin' around
    his wife.

I have friends who drank themselves to death too, foolie. Looked like 70 yr old men in their 50's. Never knew anybody who died from pot... but spending all that time in the sun is deadly too. Some of my g/fs were just talking about that the other day. How we used to lay in the sun with baby oil & iodine for suntan lotion. Might as well have been Crisco Oil... frying your skin.

Young and dumb... we've all been there.

Supposedly gary died from some sort of cancer. No one cared to tell me
exactly what kind.I was kind peeved that I was never contacted as to gary
being sick. His father's " baby farm " was about a mile away from where my
my Parents estate was { used to be be,up ,until my father died and my Mom
felt she had to sell the place }.
I saw gary a few years before he died when out on my new Rune.
I was out in late august after lunch for a casual ride near my old haunts.
I passed by gary's house and lo & behold he was in their garden { right
off the road, next to their nice stone home } I helped a few times gary and
his mom pick green beans from that garden.
I stopped in the middle of the road, having seen gary from the road.
he didn't recognize me right off.But then as he got near my new huge
    motorcycle he quickly came around.
Said something about get that bike out the middle of the road
and pointed at their driveway.gary always was a stickler for being precise.
Like to the letter. If price was involved he was TO THE PENNY.
He quickly came around the back of the house and greeted me with a smile
and exactly how long it had been since we last saw each other.
he said ... 16 years. It was 16 years since we last saw each other.
I didn't know that but it seemed about right.
I can't remember if the sun was up that minute but it was a hot day.
Looking back I did the math later that night at home.
It appeared he was right. It was 16 years.
That was the last time I saw gary. His father was home also and we
started to talk. His father had to be reminded who I was.he couldn't connect
my name and face. he must have been in the early stages of senility.
I felt slighted. All the times I'd been at gary's home hangin' out and his
    father couldn't remember me.
    That too was a lesson.
I'm kinda tired of lessons ... I am.
    Just fug it.

I can relate, dumplin. In fact, I've told 'em at work... I'm not interested in anymore training. I know everything I need to know... don't ask me to learn anything else.

    Doesn't work, but it's worth a try.
