    I don't know from quizzes.Butts what I do know from is that Threads usually
    run their course way before they even hit 800.
    I dint make up that rule.I really don't care mush.
    I'm just askin' why.
    If someone never bothered to ask what that fuzz was we never would have had
    penicillin.

    for me Formatting.I don't know why.
    probably why some people love eating food with their fingers.
    Or fellars who don't shake it off after taking a pee.
    It's not up to me to figger out why udders do what they do.
    But maybe it's cuz Cows don't seem to complain much.

    Foolie's right this time, Max... threads are limited to 750 posts on this forum, then you have to start a new one. Notice this is bar #58. We may be seeing #59 soon... the powers that be are still contemplating the issue. I'm fine with whichever way they want to go. With 57 bars in the archives, not like I have to start from hello. ;)

    Some say large threads slow down a forum's performance, but that doesn't seem to have ever been proven and some forums have threads with thousands of posts. I requested the current policy be reviewed and agreed to abide by whatever is decided. Otherwise, we're running about a bar a month... and that's kinda crazy. ;)

    Killing a thread that's run its course is the option of those running a forum, but closing a thread at 800 just so it can run another one up to 800 (X58!) seems silly. OTOH, I'm not a computer programmer. I understand memory space, but if forum software can't handle large threads, then it seems all threads would be limited, not just those in Casual Chat.

    Whatever.It's just that Miss Smarty has been somewhat spoiled.
    She is used to having an exclusive thread with unlimited posts.
    I'm thinking back to Old Yahoo and especially the dreaded
    All Forums where the powers that be,kind of pulled a fast one on her.
    I'm tyrying to think of that one Mod who got under her craw.
    There was a Mod { Id } with Vile{something} who came here and then
    kinda puffed ...off.Like the Magic Dragon.
    Like I say ... Whatever.

    Old Yahoo was back in 2000, foolie. Think I'm over that unlimited thing by now. You know, for a long time, those old threads were still active. All spam, but still had the same names. Now they're gone to internet heaven.

    Vilepagan and his sidekick what's his name. Sometimes I think VP is on this forum under another name... acts just like him. (I'll pm ya)
