That is a wonderful red herring. Lets let it flop around on the floor before we slap in on the barbeque and serve it up for dinner. If you are done with the hyperbole lets get back to the debate.

While I am inclined to believe them, I do not trust anyone who follows any religion. It all sounds nice and fluffy, but my experience with Islam makes me more than suspicious. They have demonstrated time and again that they HATE gay people.

We do not have room for that kind of thing in the USA.

Sorry, but until Islam makes it clear they can live by a free country's rules, they need to stay in the ME.

Oh my wisdom from the Great OZ hiding behind the proxy registration. Think of it like a guy in a Gorilla mask who offers you investing advice....would you believe it? The OP source seems to be......well hiding their true identity like the guy in the Gorilla Mask. Why anyone would believe it is beyond comprehension.

The keynote speaker of this event was a suspected terrorist...you think they didnt know that? Sorry but that was planned and this event was rightfully protested.

    You hate America.

They want to protect the "image" of the Prophet. Right after the events in France does this really need to be explained to you?

Unlike nations in Europe we have MILLIONS UPON MILLIONS of Muslim Americans living PEACEFULLY in the United States and many of them have been here for a LONG TIME.

Muslims living in the U.S. are primarily AMERICAN CITIZENS are they immigrated here TO GET AWAY FROM THE RADICAL ISLAMIC PSYCHOPATHS over in the Middle East.

I know quite a few Muslim Americans and they are without a doubt....SOMEOF THE MOST PATRIOTIC AMERICANS EXISTING!!!

Yes....we need to be on the watch for RELIGIOUS ZEALOTS....whether such Zealots are attempting to influence Muslim Americans at a Mosque.....or if they are a CHRISTIAN RELIGIOUS ZEALOT at a Bible Meeting planning to shoot Doctors and Nurses working at a Planned Parenthood Clinic.

I have been to the Middle East and former States of the Soviet Union in that regions South West Region and I can tell you all.....99.99999% OF THE ENEMY IS OVER THERE.....they are NOT MUSLIM AMERICANS!!

Lesson number one.. Never fall for a rawstory blog

http://www.soundvision.com/events/chicago/ is the group in question. Look for yourself.

"Frustrated with Islamophobes in media and politics defaming the Prophet?
Fuming over the recent anti-Islam Hollywood movie?
    Feeling helpless?

Isn't it time we invested in defending our Prophet?"

    umm yah...

    No they shouldn't.

There is ALWAYS going to be a small percentage of Radical Religious Zealots in every Religion in the U.S.

But when you compare the number of Illegal Activities or Attacks against American's by Religious Zealots from all Religious Groups in the United States.....Muslim Americans performing such attacks rank at the bottom numerically.

Sounds like a far better and measured response than shooting up an office. Wouldn't this be the preferred option? Isn't this the kind of thing we ("westen" would do)? Certainly doesn't sound like a meeting for radicals or terrorists. Remember, everyday muslims are getting berated by us all because of the actions of a small percentage of idiots.

There is a known terrorist in the US who was advertised at this location.... and we didn't arrest him?

I think that he, like myself, has an issue with dumb rednecks who never learned to read but have decided that they see the word 'Muslim' and want to protest against those who are actually on the same side as them! Morons.

Apparently if you do not tolerate terrorists slaughtering thousands of people across the world including executing 12 people over a cartoon you are a "dumb redneck". Good call, Alinsky.

Its pretty bizarre that radical extremist liberals would rather criticize those than criticize terrorists than criticize the terrorists themselves. Its pretty bizarre that liberals would loudly criticize Christians for being against gay marriage, but then be absolutely silent when it comes to Muslims executing gay people by throwing them off a roof to their deaths.

The argument, genius, is in the OP. Why are those dumb Texans protesting against Muslims who are of the same mindset as them? That is to say they are also condemning Islamic terrorism. Or do you also have a fundamental misunderstanding of plain English-or of what 'irony' means?

Or Dumb Brits that have no clue about the group they are protesting... They are not on the same side. They are concerned with the image of the Prophet NOT calling out the Jihadists and their actions.. Read something BESIDES Rawstory or continue looking like a fool.. Your choice.

At least you can make an argument without being a bigot while accusing others of being bigots.

    OH WAIT you cant.

These people picked a SUSPECTED TERRORIST to speak at their event....they couldnt find a speaker who didnt have terrorist ties? Doesnt that concern you just a tad?

Probably not, you would rather call people stupid rednecks because they disagree with your insane tolerance of terrorists....because that makes a ton of sense.

Suspected by whom? If he is that much of a suspect then why has he not been arrested and why is there no mention of this in the posted link? Where have I ever even suggested that I tolerate terrorism? You're making crap up again and making yourself look even more stupid.

Doesn't protesting a conference against terror and hate make them supporters of terror and hate?

Or does it make them ignorant?
