Americans should be the out cast of the world until their gun masacres stop

At every border or airport Americans should be screened more thoroughly than other nationalities. Penalties should be harasher for gun smuggling. Americans with a lot of guns should be put on the no fly list. Should not be allowed across the border. Things are out of control and this is probably the only way to deal with it.

Case in point, an american from illinois was busted this year before she and a friend could shoot up a mall in Nova Scotia. Also most of the guns used in crimes in Canada were smuggled from the US. Same with Mexico.

US is a big gun problem and they are exporting their problems to our countries.

 

I don't know about gun massacres, but I think they should be cast out until their nefarious foreign policies are put an end to.

 

They export their guns to prolong conflicts and such in many countries so that is tied to their foreign policy.

Unless the penalty is minor, like a small fine, deterrence operates primarily by perceived likelihood of getting caught, not by whether the penalty is years or decades.

As for no-fly lists, unless you have some kind of data showing they are a threat similar to terrorists in foreign countries, that would actually make you less safe by misdiverting resources

 

I agree. I think the US should cut it self off from all other nations until we can be good. If it takes a century to learn our lesson, so be it!

 

I agree but for different reasons.

We should withdraw all of our military from everywhere overseas. We should keep all of our money here and never give a dime to any nation for any reason even humanitarian reasons. We should eliminate all internal regulations on business and free trade and then abolish income tax and instead raise revenue by taxing imports at a rate equal to or greater than whatever other nations tax on our exports. Invite the Un to seek life elsewhere. Direct the NYPD to impound every un car with outstanding parking or traffic tickets and declare all Un reps persona non grata.

Then the rest of the world can go to hell while we prosper

You realize that Canada is a very large arms manufacturer and supplier right? Canada is the world's 15th largest exporter of arms.

Same as in Mexico. The weapons that the Mexicans and ATF recovered were staged with handguns predominating. Most of the killing is done with fully auto weapons acquired overseas or stolen from the Mexican government. The Eastern Europeans are shedding their old AK's for replacement and there are millions out there. The OP, like most libs doesn't have a clue.

The drug trade in Mexico alone brings in over 60 billion a year. That is just marijuana.

That is hardly funded by American guns.

 

Actually it does. US manufacturers are just a drop in the bucket for small arms in the world and especially in Mexico. Just in the world of handguns, Glock, Sig, H&K, FN and CZ are the manufacturers of origin just for Europe alone. Arsenal grade AK's aren't manufactured here. There's only two sources for fully automatic M16's in this country and civilians aren't going to have access.

we are the only nation with enough resources and personnel to act big and act fact.

That number has likely dropped as the Cartels have switched to more serious firepower.
