'30 dead' after truck crashes into crowd at Bastille Days, 'terror attack'

Two reports different sources say driver emerged from the truck with a gun.

CBS news reporting that the driver also shot at people after he ran a bunch down. The police had shoot the driver dead just to teach him a lesson.

I think this election could come down to an event like this days before the election... if it happens, there is no doubt in my mind Trump will have already established he's the candidate who wants to prevent these people from coming here, and Hillary will have already established its safe and we must legalize the already 10 million illegals who we have no idea who they are, and she wants to increase the number of refugees we bring in... this one single issue might be what this election comes down to if something happens days or a week before the election... early votes won't matter, people will come out in droves at that point to say no more immigrants or refugees...

 

60 dead, over 100 injured, the police had already called the a terrorist attack. I'm betting, the perpetrator is a French citizen of middle eastern ancestry. Any bets against?

do you think terrorist groups will sit down and plan some strategy, and decide which candidate they want, and either attack or not attack, based on that?

I have to imagine they would rather have Hillary, and would thus not want to attack before the election, because Trump serious or not has said he would carpet bomb them and toughen up our borders and such which would make being a terrorist a little more difficult... do you think they would actually halt attacks until after the election as a strategy?

how do you think this will impact the EU itself, the more and more these events happen I have to imagine the more countries will want to secure their borders, even if like you said, these are citizens of the countries the attacks occur in, the feeling is there is an outside influence penetrating the borders and causing this to be amplified... if Britain really does exit, that pretty much leaves France and Germany as the foundation for the whole EU now, I can't imagine if France leaves its worth keeping in tact...
