The subject is Trump. I can admit Clinton's faults, but you can't seem to come to grips with Trump. That's your problem.

Everything is an excuse or rationalization. First, it's the known vs. The unknown. Now it's the lesser of two evils. I don't believe either. I think you're suffering from identity politics. I'd bet you would vote for Charles Manson as long as he ran on the GOP ticket.

But you know Clinton will abuse the power of the President, she has abused every position of influence she has been involved with. You do not know that Trump will abuse the office.

No, Trump is not a "psycho". He is intelligent. So is Hilary. That's not the issue.

Yes, maybe Trump will be OK, maybe he will do the right thing. That's better than Hilary - who will definitely not do the right thing, who will definitely not be OK.

Look at the world and the nation today, that's the product of Hilary and her ilk. If you like a poor economy staggering on the edge of a cliff and the police state and a crony & corrupt government, if you like a world on the verge of economic collapse and war and chaos sprouting up all over the globe, and you want more of all that, then vote for Hilary.

    ***

Trump did not destroy the Republican party, he is not the problem, he is a byproduct, a symptom. The Republican party was destroyed by the Republican establishment who lied to get elected but are "progressives" in action, and who stabbed its own constituents in the back too many times.

The final straw was the 2014 election in which the Republicans promised "just vote for us, this time we will do something", they won huge margins at the state and federal levels. They controlled the House and Senate, and before the election results were even dry on the page, the lame duck Republicans gave away everything to the "progressives". Boehner, McConnell, and the rest of the RINOs triggered the civil war in the Republican party.

You liked the "old" Republican party because it was run by progs.

And Hilary is perfect to be a Mafia boss. I will take the reality TV producer over the Mafia boss, every rational person will make the same decision.

I am not the one claiming being a known quantity is the criteria.

And the alternative is someone who is deceitful, lies to the faces of family members about the deaths of their children, incompetent and according to the FBI extremely careless and a blithering idiot. 1/3 of Americans will be voting for that.

Clinton ran the mafia? And to you, that's rational? Trump's the anti Christ. Why do you hate Christians? I can post nonsense too.

Pure silliness. Luckily, most voters are rational, and don't fall for nonsensical namecalling. That's why trump is tanking.

You know what the most common denominator is among people who vote party? They can't see the forest for the trees. Hillary and Donald have both used their position to win.
Any poster commenting on US politics without a national identity in their profile is just... Laughable to me.

Gotta love posts on US politics from posters without the courage to identify themselves.
Your authenticity is so unique. Sarcasm intended, of course.

So a choice between a plague and cholera to vote ...
To vote a total dumbass who is like an elephant in the china shop and attacking everything and everyone in a shameful behavior who is not licking his *peep" on one side ... and an dishonest, careless person who has a general conflict with truth on the other side.

My deepest sympathy my dear Americans ... but on the other side you caused this by your own with your votes at least.

No you get what you deserve in a democracy. This is the result of years of ignorant, blind hyper partisanship from both the left and the right that paint the other side as evil at worst or absolutely delusional at best.

Sure, I can agree that the politicians have created a so far distance to the people and being out of realities in their capital offices, that people are tired of their BS blabbering and ignorance. In the USA you have unfortunately only 2 choices to vote for and I must really ask as foreigner who followed the politics in the USA since years: Where is the difference between both, Republicans and Democrats?

Both are telling the same BS, only otherwise packaged ....
Both are changing nothing important and no matter from which side a president comes, any of such important changes is fought by the other side as the evil, only because it is coming from them
Both sides have their strong and weak points. Clinton reduced the deficit drastic, but waked US Forces drastic by burring many necessary modernizations... Bush wasted money like a clown and caused record deficit which Obama earned from him (and any telling that Bush did because 9/11 or Obama can't because economic crises is BS).
Both sides lie like mad in front of elections and promise the worst BS which never could be fulfilled later
    ...

But no worries ... in Europe it is not better. We have same sort of idiots in our capitals sitting.

The POPULAR answer here about Trump's supporters supporting Trump in spite of his LACK OF KNOWLEDGE and understanding is that they recognize faults in Trump but find even more fault in Obama and Hillary.

The REALITY is that 62% of Trump supporters falsely think Obama is a Muslim while only 9% think he is a Christian. 52 % of Trump supporters falsely think Obama was not born in the United States.

As I type this a congressman ( republican ) is doubling down for Trump supporters by not supporting Trump's truthfulness but instead attacking Clinton's alleged untruthfulness.

Politics is the art of the possible.

It is NOT POSSIBLE for those propping Trump up for the sake of their party to defend him ( even though they're more grounded in reality) so instead they deflect and attack Obama and Clinton too for the sake of their political party.

There are still months to go before the election.
If he keeps shedding support, he may not even come in second place.

Then my question is: What happens for some strange reason if Hillary does do the "right thing"?? Then what?

I believe the world today is a by-product of the past 50 years of Republican and Democratic leadership; moreover I do not believe the United States is on the verge of economic collapse; indeed almost every election cycle it is touted that we "are on the verge of collapse financially" and yet for some reason it does not happen. The wars and chaos around the world cannot be solely pinned on the US; other major players have played a major role as well. Now we could all vote for Trump and risk having him use nuclear weapons as he as threatened, we have the possibility of him not honoring NATO treaties as he has threatened to do; risk having him either throw out/intern non-Christians/Jews out of the country based on the actions of a relatively few extremists while ignoring the US Constitution, etc. The fact of the matter is that Trump like it or not has been condemned by members of his own party as incompetent and by professionals as being mentally unfit to run this country. At least with Hillary, you know what your getting. I personally don't like her brand of politics and will not be supporting her, but if elected, she won't lay waste to the country as I believe Trump would.

Voting for third party candidates is fine as well. They may not win this time around but could grow in popularity and it will send a message to both major parties that its time to clean house and change their platforms.

Agreed, Trump has not destroyed the republican party, however his actions certainly are not helping the party, which now faces a good chance of losing control in the Senate and although it's a long shot, control of the House as well.

I liked both parties as they were 50 years ago because most of the time they worked out their issues, compromised and got things done, unlike the parties of today.

Trump's off the rails? While the Hillary/Obama/Internationalist Left is sending pallets of cash to a nuclear weapon bound Iran? What is with these Left Wing groups and their love of Islamic Terror groups?

Israel says Gaza World Vision director diverted millions to Hamas’s military wing "The Gaza head of the U.S.-based humanitarian aid organization World Vision funneled as much as $7 million a year over the past 10 years to Hamas’s terror activities, Israel’s domestic security agency said Thursday."

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/worl...e6c1ef-b18c-4d0a-9b81-497a3ec250ef_story.html

I can tell you without checking that group thinks Trump would be a "catastrophe" and that everyone on their boards is voting for Hillary.

Hillary Clinton is no longer in the administration. She has nothing to do with the cash shipment to Iran. She also has nothing to do with the accused head of World Vision in Gaza. If you are going to criticize someone, at least have the intelligence to cite events that have some connection to the person you're criticizing.

Maybe I should apply your logic and blame Donald Trump for the fact that we had a destructive thunderstorm last week.
