Physical beauty- Objective or subjective? Cultural or universal?

Well duh! Something about the breastuses draws a man's eyes.

 

It's kind of funny how people seem to go way overboard with things if you think about it. Such as waist size. I guess that was something that was important to the Victorian era people, and so women would cinch their waists with corsets down to like a size 18. I've heard that's why women used to faint a lot back then.

Then we have the example give above of the small feet. Women in China (or wherever) would cinch their feet so that they had the tiniest little feet.

Nowadays, we have breasts. We now see women with gigantic breasts everywhere. I guess we humans tend to take things to extremes, huh?

Exactly. So, would you say that many men find big breasts to be something that would attract them to a woman?

 

Oh, and the big butt craze! How could I forget THAT fashion statement! Women realized that a lot of men liked a big butt, and . . . BOZOINGA!

 

Now to me, this looks really stupid. When I was kid, by hearing my mom talk, I always used to think having a big butt was a BAD thing.

What do the men think? I wonder if age group is important factor in whether or not a man finds this attractive or not?

Well, breasts are lumps of fat, so big breast might signify good health and is also a sign of fertility.

Where this ridiculous obsession for unnaturally huge silcon breasts come from, I have no idea. Uncle Freud would say these men just, secretly, want to hump their mothers. Loololol.

 

Bug butts are bad. They should be round and firm, but it is more about the waist and hips as this means a woman can give good birth.

Probably at something here. Immature, not fully sexually developed/infertile boys are probably attracted to different traits than a fertile man.

 

Women and men are a little different and again physical beauty is not always the same as romantic beauty. However, looks are, whether we like it or not, very important. If a disfigured man and a handsome "10/10" man ask the same woman for her number then, probably the latter will get it.

Women are more prone to group-mentality and are more collectivist than men, I believe. Women are much more likely to conform to trends to "fit in" Women, on average, are smaller than men and have been dependent on each other for protection. Therefore they fall easier for trends- to easier find belonging and protection.

My observations tells women are yet extremely brutal against one and other, but at the same time very collectivist. Quite bizarre.

 

Wide load no. Protruding butt yes. Breasts aren't sexual organs but have been made so by society. I prefer the smaller ones. The big uns with the veins visible - not so much. What really turns men on is wide hips. We're programmed to reproduce and wide hips scream 'baby maker'.

Just so you know though, hip size has nothing to do with birthing babies Petite women can give birth to large babies, and some large hipped women have had to have cesarean sections.

I've seen men look at even rather unattractive or portly women if they can see their cleavage though. I'm a people watcher and I notice these kinds of things. Lol.

I don't think that's true. I think women have smaller friend groups than men do but closer relationships with those fewer friends.

Well forget about that. Do you find the first woman unattractive because she doesn't have big hips? And what about Asian women? Many of them are quite petite with narrow hips and small breasts, but many men seem to be attracted to them.

Gosh no. Body builder women are gross and repulsive as heck. Too much T and just too unfeminine.

Fat as in overweight is not considered beautiful, but in our evolutionary past, big breast mighy have signified you were good at gathering food and just well-nurtured not to mention fertile (girls don't have breasts, only women do!). Good fat reserve. Btw, body builder men are disgusting too.

Women like muscular men though.

Obviously, eyes will be drawn there if women purposely dress that way. If they wear short skirts, men will watch their legs. And so on. If a well-built man, purposely, puts on a tight shirt to show off, women will gaze at his upper body.

Women are more social and compassionate yes. Men often have only very few close friends if any.

I always saw women as more collectivistic. Don't know. Although collectivists and compassionate, women tend to treat each other really badly (in my observation). Doing group-work with more than two women always end up in them bad mouthing the other groups' members and when out with a group of women and one of them leaves the table, everyone starts trash talking that person.

Yes but men will usually look at the breasts, regardless of what the rest of person looks like. I don't think little breasts are a sign of bad health. Lol. And what about the men who say they prefer little breasts? You guys are all over the place.

 

Asian women look very feminine almost "too feminine", to the point they look "girly". They often have very small faces and soft and "cute" features. It is not that strange some men like them. Might (from Westernocentric view) have something to do with their "exoticness" too.

Most males would say the best part of a female is her face.

 

Asian women, generally speaking, tend to be more petite than your average American woman. They, often times, have small breasts and narrow hips.
