For those who don't know, the only vote cast on Tuesday was the popular vote, which Clinton narrowly won. Trump is expected to win the electoral college, but here's the thing: The electoral college *hasn't* voted yet.

Under the Constitution, the electoral college is vested with power to choose the next POTUS. When they vote Dec. 19, they're free agents and have a legal right to vote as they wish.

Since Clinton won the popular vote, a petition was started this morning to ask the electoral college to vote according to the will of the people. In the last few hours, it's gained almost 1 MILLION signatures.

Sign it if you believe in the will of the people:

The Democrats have already caved. There is not stopping this.

The irony is that Republicans would drag any Democratic president through the mud and try to delegitimise them as they did both Clinton and Obama.
While Democrats when faced with the worst leader since Hitler don't do (*)(*)(*)(*).

if something horrible comes out about Trump, he could lose the Electoral College vote.

Hillary only needs 40 more votes to win

We have a little over a month to spread the word. If this gets enough attention in the press, it could give enough electorates the courage to do the right thing.

Reality is that there's still a narrow chance for a Clinton victory. Oh, and if Trump had won the popular vote but lost the election, we both know how Trump supporters would react.

if Trump won the Popular vote but lost the Electoral vote, he and his followers would be calling for violent revolution.

Reality is that Clinton has conceded, POTUS has met with Trump as President-elect and world leaders have sent congratulations to Trump.

Try backing that bus up and see what happens.

Meh, Clinton won the popular vote in very few left-wing areas which does not effect the rest of the electoral college votes. Mainly liberal and welfare concentrations in large cities. No matter the petition, it is very off the mark in reality.

You can tell that to the Electoral College, if they choose to elect Clinton as President because they think Trump is unfit and unqualified to lead our Great Nation.

    i do.

    do you?

I know that the Electoral College could elect Hillary, if we find out some horrible (*)(*)(*)(*) about Trump, or if he commits a horrible crime.

You evidently think the Hillary won all those electoral votes in red states because she barely won the popular vote. It doesn't matter if she won in a select few areas that predominantly are liberal and full of welfare recipients. The electoral college gives all states a vote.

Question: Would you be willing to allow California, Texas, New York, Florida and Illinois alone to decide the who the President is going to be? If the election was decided based on the popular vote alone, those states would be the only ones that matter. If you those five states combined populations, they equal more then all the total votes cast in this election. That is why the Electorate College was derived. Now, if you want a suggestion that would work. Take a page from Nebraska and Maine's book. Divide the state into Electoral Districts. The Popular vote for that district would chose who that Electoral Delegates votes for. In other words, keep the Electoral College. Just get rid of the winner take all part. Simple!!!

When Obama won the Right accepted it. Now that Trump has won leftists are rioting and trying to rig the system. Obama was a KNOWN racist and radical leftist nation-hater, and yet the Right accepted that he would be president. The Left? Their bulging basket of deplorables are tearing up stuff and are being violent. Interesting, eh?

I think a lot of people here respect you even if we disagree with you, but to attempt to subvert the approved process of how we elect our POTUS? Simply because yourI candidate didn't win?

Don't humor this lefties don't degrade yourselves and our election process to this level

The map is red from sea to shining sea. One wonders if leftists are even capable of dealing with reality.

I don't know why I even bother anymore... In post-truth America idiocy, lies and ignorance has won.

Well... The thing is... Reality will soon bite. Unfortunately for the rest of the world it won't just be the many ignorant Trump-voters who will pay. We all will... And the globe.

Actually Hitler was one of the worlds must successful politicians in history.

Hitler did make Time Magazine Man of the year twice.

If Hitler hadn't invaded Poland in 1939 he would have been The Man of the 20th Century.

Did you know that Hitler was a liberal ?

Sure, granted that lies and ignorance won in 2008 and again in 2012; but what's your point?
