Democrats held a news conference taking place on the stairs in front of the Supreme Court, to voice their objections to president Trumps newly issued EO on refugees. In attendance were several of Ms Pelosis democratic colleagues, incuding (D) congressman Andre Carson. As Carson stepped forward to address those gathered, Ms Pelosi repeatedly encourages congressman Carson to "tell them your a muslim". Carson has been a prominent member of congress since being seated in 2008, and also serves on the House Armed Services Committee. He's well educated, highly competent, very articulate, and african american. Pelosi again promotes engaging in identity politics, rather than thoughtful discussion. http://www.breitbart.com/video/2017...c-to-dem-rep-carson-tell-them-youre-a-muslim/ Carson serves on the House Intelligence sub committee, and is the only congressman to have served in the Dept of Homeland Security "fusion center". Pelosi is an embarrassment.
It isn't just Pelosi, this is the democratic party. Exploiting people for skin color, gender and now religion is what they do. The people that fall for this nonsense are the embarrassments.
Calling Trump on his blatant bigotry is wrong? Interesting. The 'embarrassment' of which you speak is the cretin you just elected. America just became the laughing stock of the entire planet. Congratulations; you deserve him, frankly.
I'm just surprised she refrained from "outing" him just for good measure. I mean, black/muslim/gay that's the liberal trifecta ...
Nowhere in my OP do I even address the policy. I don't relate congressman Carsons opinion either. I point out Pelosi emarrasses democratic lawmakers, particularly Carson, whose qualifications and accomplishments stand on their own merits. I see she reached her target audience though.
There is zero evidence of bigotry in Trump. Only your warped view of extremely mundane comments. However, there is blatant and even embraced bigotry among the Left. Its just against white people so you think thats ok.
"Self" identification ... Pelosi figured congressman Carson had forgotten who, and what he was? Whether or not Carson would have mentioned it on his own is irrelevant. Pelosis insistence is the issue.
Really? How about the judge he accused of bias because he was, apparently, Mexican-despite being born in Indiana? How many more examples do you want? http://www.politifact.com/wisconsin...-trumps-racial-comments-about-judge-trump-un/ https://www.washingtonpost.com/opin...53b65c809eb_story.html?utm_term=.5cb09dfb8a0f Trump is a bigot and a racist. Only those who hold similar views won't acknowledge that simple and demonstrable fact.
That is not a sign of bigotry. He was accusing him of it. Something the left does all the time. But yes give me all of your examples so I can one by one shut them down. Your hypocrisy shines bright.
Another baseless claim. He accused the judge of being bias, and a bigot himself. Something the left does all the time. That is in no way a sign of bigotry on Trumps part. But come on with the examples so I can shut them down as well.
Our radical democrat AG just got (*)(*)(*)(*)canned for being biased and not following the rule of law, so there ya go. You don't judge law on your personal perception of morality. That's NOT law and definitely not your job. Why didn't she quit when Obama screwed over every Cuban abolishing wetfoot dry foot? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
And he's the POTUS, our highest ranked official. Does that "look bad"? Perhaps for those who care to focus on such things. But nation-leaders will soon realize they have very little precious time to waste on social politics. Because the US Military-industrial power didn't wane with Trump's election. They will want to negotiate and be on good terms with Donald Trump. Literally, Trump's vagabond ideology might very well lead to peace between former antagonistic powers such as Europe and Russia. Because I believe you guys aren't insane to go into anything without the US. Just as Israel had to accept the Iran deal the US was backing.
I have objectively proven you wrong. You have no evidence to his bigotry. Not in this example, or any other. Unless you still have more examples you want to be shot down? Hint: Ive heard them all and they are nothing but the lefts own purposefully twisted viewpoints of those they dislike.
No you have not. Trump's comments speak for themselves; yours are merely your subjective opinion-or did you not bother to read the transcript I provided? Of course you didn't, that much is evident. There is nothing 'puposefully twisted' in Trump's own words, but go ahead and spin that. I could do with a good laugh. http://www.politifact.com/wisconsin...-trumps-racial-comments-about-judge-trump-un/
Ahh so now its subjective? I am atleast glad you admit that your own interpretation of his comments is nothing at all "proof" of his bigotry. Which means I am objectively correct. There is no evidence. In fact, there is no reasonable subjective interpretation of his comments to be bigoted. Just the lefts hate projecting onto others.
There is purposeful twisted interpretations of those words. Which is exactly what you are doing in order to create an argument you do not have.
I clearly said that your opinion is subjective, or do you have comprehension issues along with your denial issues? Read: http://www.politifact.com/wisconsin...-trumps-racial-comments-about-judge-trump-un/ So, did Trump suggest that the judge was biased because of his Mexican heritage or not? A wise person once said, 'there are none so blind as those who won't see'. I suggest you digest those words and reconsider your interpretation of what constitutes evidence.
He accused the judge of being biased and a bigot. That is not the same as he himself being a bigot. The left does this every single day, in a much more blatant manner. And I clearly said that your opinion is subjective. And since it is subjective, and also unreasonable, there is objectively no proof of his bigotry. Just typical leftist hate and bigotry projecting on others.
Oh dear god...he accused the judge of bias because he thought he was Mexican, and his heritage was influencing what Trump clearly considered a bias because of his heritage! Are you incapable of understanding this? What Trump said is clear to anyone. Except you, clearly. Sorry, but this conversation is over. I'm debating with a child.
Which is exactly what the left accusses white people of every single day. But apparently its not bigoted then right? Is it only bigoted to suspect it when its not against white people? Your hypocrisy burns bright. No, this is still your unreasonable interpretation. Suspecting someone is a bigot or bias, is not bigoted in and of itself. You still have 0 evidence.
That's all they have. They lost the debate on election day so they're throwing an infantile hissy fit every day. How sad that the Democrats can't live up to their rhetoric of wanting to work together.
