Meh. There aren't many people I despise more than pelosi but this is pretty weak. You can't deny the political value to the dems of such a declaration. You can thank trump for making this low hanging fruit.
Bill Clinton and the Kennedys are no longer relevant, but please keep deflecting and defending the idiotic bastard you elected. I don't personally recall defending Kennedy-perhaps you can point out where and when I did? Thanks.
You just elected an elitist, corporatist establishment figure and his equally elitist billionaire buddies. 'Man of the people'? Not even close. Congratulations on refilling the swamp.
Really? Until a year ago Trump was a private citizen, not a politician. How could Trump be responsible for Pelosis decades long political practices. Identity politics is nothing new to Ms Pelosi. I'm not sure I ever saw an interview, over the course of Obamas presidency, in which Pelosi failed to invoke "americas first black president" ...
These are real the scumbags: Libyians, Somalis, Syrians, and so many others who kill Christians, Jews and others unlike them. Next in line are liberal psychos want these people in their lands to come an go as they please and pay them benefits.
Breitbart = fake news. It's not clear what she's saying to him and i listened about a half dozen times. Furthermore, is anything he said on mic a falsehood?
History is relevant. That's how you establish who is credible and who isn't. Clinton is the worst of the worst and still praised and relevant. Claiming Trump is some kinda monster when you give Bill Clinton a pass on rape/sexual assault is hypocrisy at it's finest. You and any Clinton worshiping leftist have 0 credibility on sexual assault issues do to your current and past support for Bill Clinton. Bill Clinton raping a chick and flashing his junk is cool with you, but Trump's locker room talk is what makes you mad? I'm sure You'd defend Ted Kennedy and believe he was a great person. Why else would he'd been a praised and admired Democrat if he wasn't some super great person.
I believe the point of the OP comment was to demonstrate that ms Pelosi is a bigot. She thrives on identity politics and doesn't find it reproachable in any way to publicly demonstrate her bigotry and her willingness to use people to demonstrate it. If you believe that Trump is a bigot because he thinks that not allowing potential terrorists into the country, one shutters to think what you think of FDR..... - - - Updated - - - Don't underestimate the reason liberals invite this chaos into our midst. Without them, the public loses their fear, which is the only leverage the left seems to have anymore. Without fear, they lose there ability to scare us into accepting their extortion.
No, I consider Trump to be a racist bigot because of his record which speaks for itself. How many examples would you like? How about the time he refused to rent a property to a black nurse. Because she was black. Will that do for a start? http://www.npr.org/2016/09/29/49595...ed-by-decades-old-housing-discrimination-case If you don't consider that to be both racist and bigoted I'm at a loss what to think, frankly.
Hey don't take my word for it, Fido.
Total non-argument. Trump's been falsely called a bigot ever since the campaign, and that's the bog standard attack used by American leftwads against any political opponent. They love to use that one because, so far, it's a powerful one in our über PC culture and once it's been said, it's not easy to escape the accusation. Suddenly everyone is primed to look at what you say and do as possibly racist, and so confirmation bias kicks in.
For the second time on this thread, I'll state that I offer NO criticism of either congressman Carson, nor his remarks. Pelosis behavior is what I'm drawing attention to. Since you've mentioned the "fake news" angle, it seems curious to me that neither MSM nor the DNC has pointed it out as such ...
I see, so you agree that Trump is a racist bigot. I'm glad we cleared that up. - - - Updated - - - Yes, it's powerful because it's true; he was sued for racial discrimination and settled out of court. You don't need any particular political stance to recognise a bigot and a racist. Unless, of course, you happen to be one, in which case you'll go to any lengths to deny it-which usually also involves pointing 'over there'. I've seen it all before. Far from being a 'total non-argument' it sums up Trump's attitudes perfectly and serves to underscore his bigotry for all to see.
He admitted no guilt. It's you who want to read more into what happened than what actually (and allegedly) happened... back in 1973.
Of course he admitted no guilt; he never does! Read: http://www.npr.org/2016/09/29/49595...ed-by-decades-old-housing-discrimination-case I'm not reading anything into this other than the facts presented. The fact remains that he was sued and lost the case. If he was so innocent he wouldn't have coughed a fortune to prevent a guilty verdict; he would have fought it. Simple; and there was no 'allegedly' about it. What don't you understand about, 'I am not allowed to rent to black tenants'?
Like I said, I despise her. But you can't fault her for trying to score a few political points due to trumps idiotic position on muslims.
I forgot about that nasty thing. I guess SS didn't notice Syria and Russia and everyone except for Europe (his homeland) laughing at us when Obama was president.
Now we're to the core of it. The dems have no choice but present Trump as a common foe in order to heal it's divisions, and ignite their base. Understandable. But, Pelosi basically implied that a black congressmans view wasn't as valuable as a muslim congressmans view at the moment. You can believe the democratic black caucus will be discussing this faux pas.
